My mother in law died a few years ago
She had cancer, she had a heart condition which had recently hospitalised her. She was obese and she was an ex smoker. She was 70.
She’d been told she only had a few months to live due to the cancer
In hospital she contracted meningitis and it was that that inished her off
But meningitis wasn’t what went down as the cause of death, it was cancer
Her early death saved her from a horrible lingering death and it saved the NHS a fortune in resources.
Governments are wrecking the economy and taking away civil liberties because they are running scared of the storm of a huge number of deaths caused by coronavirus and the huge impact on the health system
But how many of these people would have died anyway? Why are the savings from the early deaths not being factored in?
This lockdown wouldn’t have happened 30 years ago, 20 years ago or even 10 years ago

- Five of the deceased were between 31 and 39 years old, all with severe previous illnesses.
- The health institute still leaves open what the examined patients died of and generally speaks of "Covid19-positive deceased".

They are avg close to 700. Deaths a day, all of those people are not old.
I’m seeing young and middle age adults in some of those footages.

Either lockdowns don't work, or there are more infected out there than even that study thinks. More like a million than 100,000.
Even in Italy with its high numbers, they haven't tested everyone. The only way to beat this would be to test everyone daily. There needs to be an at home test.

Are you saying it's ok that mostly old people are dying from this? It starts with a fever and tiredness and progresses to respiratory illness that for many requires they go on a ventilator. They have to seriously sedate you to be on a ventilator.
No need to look to Italy anyway. Hospitals here in the US say there are plenty of people under age 40 who have had to be hospitalized due to this virus.

Italian average age for people who die from coronavirus is 80 years old. A lot of old people are dying and it's horrible.
Some people younger , around 30-60 with various underlying conditions can get serious pulmonary disease but usually survive.
