I work in a hospital. It's not trumps fault hospitals didn't buy more masks and medical supplies. Where do you think they buy those from? It's not the government. Hospital management messed up and didn't buy ahead of time. When we have natural disasters we order up on plenty of supplies. So do other hospitals. And sometimes our vendors run out of product and we need to ration. This happens more than you know. It's not because of trump. It's been happening for decades.
Plus all these supplies currently come out of china. And that's not trumps fault. He's been saying since he started running that we need to bring supply chains back to the us. Blame clinton, bush, and obama for that. Remember the trade war with china? That was to remedy those issues and bring those jobs and supply chains back to the states.
You don't understand how these infrastructures work. The government can't just buy supplies that aren't available. They can't just make supplies either. Factories need to be in place. Raw ingredients need to be available. What we do produce in the us is limited and has an upper limit on units produced per hour. If anything, this virus proves trump was right when he started campaigning and the reason why we need him more than ever for the next 4 years.
