Can anyone translate into English what this guy is trying to say?
Why don't you ask 'this guy' himself?
Despite you either being the same troll, or just as stupid let me dumb it down for you anyway.
Esoteric .....an English adjective "not understood or known by many"
Walmsely is planning to run at Comrades, which has been held in South Africa since 1921, except for WWII years.
It is the largest Ultra in the world, with 24,000 in yr 2000.
South Africa has the highest participation rate of active club registered road runners, in particular marathoners.
It has the highest attendance at a Park Run in the world
Park Run was founded by South African expats in London
Comrades is anything but 'esoteric'.
However, calling your baseball games "world series' does not make it world wide
Don't worry, thank me later
Ultras are for hobby joggers. If you call yourself an athlete of any kind, I’d hate to have to change the “light pole to light pole” race we grew up with “let’s race 100 miles”.
Ultra is a sport that essentially gets 0 talent. Walmsley had a great day this weekend and still got cooked. Walmsley, the world’s best, is probably not in the top 1000 marathoners in the world,
This is the sole reason why no one cares about ultra. It’s a hobby, not a sport.
