A high school senior, Kolby, passed away this morning.
According to more recent news reports, he might not have aimed for them. It seems witnesses and cameras show him so drunk he was driving the wrong direction down the road at almost 80 mph and hit several other vehicles before wrecking less than 2 blocks away. Still awaiting blood alcohol tests to come back. I'm surprised they don't at least have a breath test number to report.
Anybody from Oklahoma have any updates for this? Last update I saw was from July when he plead not guilty and was ordered to stand trial.
"Police say Townsend was driving nearly 80 mph (129 kph) in a 25 mph (40 kph) zone, crossed two lanes of traffic, veered onto a sidewalk and crashed into the runners outside of Moore High School."
