Your inarticulate response is a problem.
It has been nearly 30 hours since Kobe Bryant, one of his daughters' and seven others died in a helicopter accident. The gist of O.P.'s thread is that all humans are equal. Kobe Bryant's millions of dollars did not protect him or lengthen his life. The gist of O.P.'s thread is that a famous 1/2 billionaire as was Bryant is no better than the rest of us and it looks ridiculous for others who did not know Bryant well to cry over Bryant as if his 40 inch vertical and Bryant's willingness to practice basketball two hours a day longer than his fellow N.B.A. players somehow made Bryant a good or great man.
Monarchies work due to unnatural fear and respect peasants have for king &/or queen. Necessary for capitalism to function is unnatural admiration and reverence for billionaires and 1/2 billionaires. Love for 300 plus pound orange man, Michael Bloomberg and Tom Steyer is similar. Capitalism's love for billionaires. I doubt those crying over Kobe Bryant are Bernie Bros. Maybe there are some lightly educated Bernie Bros crying over Kobe. If so, they need to learn.
Many/some are crying over K Bryant because what he was going to do with remainder of his life. He was going to go from a 1/2 billionaire to a multi-billionaire. Some say what blacks and others need are billionaire role models. No. U.S. needs fundamental policy changes. Fawning over kings, queens, billionaires and 1/2 billionaires is psychologically unhealthy and does not make the conditions under which peasants or working class exist better.
FROM EACH ACCORDING TO HIS ABILITY TO EACH ACCORDING TO HIS NEEDS.
