It's been pointed out so many time that WCAP is funded by non-appropriated funds (meaning, funds apart from funds approved by Congress)
In other words, WCAP is funded by sponsor dollars, not tax payer money.
But don;t let the facts get in the way of your blatant racism...
i was being sarcastic. I am a african american distance runner lol. Nothing wrong at all with running for the military.

Yeah, and Webb, and McDougal, Goucher, etc. Really brought out a lot guys with different racing backgrounds. It was pretty cool to be able to line up with all these guys. Most branches of the military sent teams, so there were some guys for those of us near the back to race with.
12K is a weird (but cool) distance.

A guy named MJ is Kenyan?
Nope, pretty sure he was born and raised in Indiana.

Waiting for Lickity to chime in with his "these guys aren't real soldiers" schtick...

Let me get this straight: the OP started a perfectly legitimate thread, but you felt the need to change the name of it to make a d*ckish point? Got it.
In addition to the free for all of anonymous clowns, the idea of the mods deciding to mess with thread titles (regardless of the justification or result) is a big reason this board, its literal popularity not with standing, is massive joke people love to joke about jokingly in a mean way. You can all suck urine!
Corey Gorgas (NAU) takes Men's juniors over Evan Bishop (HS). Natasha Rogers takes Women's seniors over Paige Stoner

" It was a good day for the Army WCAP team as their Kenyan Americans went 1-2-3 in the men’s race."
That's all you wrote covering this championship.
Notice that the professional commentators never used the phrase "Kenyan Americans."
We get it. We've gotten it.
No wonder many of these athletes refuse your interviews at the world championships.
You couldn't even talk about the race. You couldn't EVEN talk about the race!
Expect to be snubbed at the Olympic Trials and in Tokyo. I wouldn't give you the time of day either.

What are you talking about? Yes, on the home page I referred to the Kenyan-Americans going 1-2-3. What's wrong with that??
You act like I don't like Rotich or something.
The reality of the matter is I'm a big fan of Anthony Rotich. I'm driving the fan club and asking others to jump on board. I am the only journalist who really bothered to get pumped by his USA 5k road win in NY, wrote an article about his coach thinks he can medal in the Olympics and have publicly placed a bet saying he'll make the US Olympic team.
Yet you think I don't like him and he should boycott doing interviews with me simply because I pointed out he was born in Kenya? That's crazy.
I'm the leader of ghis fan club and you are basically saying I'm a hater. I get it - it's the year 2020 - and everyone wants to be offended for some reason and act like everything every white male does is either racist, sexist or homophobic but in this case you look like a fool for playing that card.
In case you missed my article from November, here it is.
https://www.letsrun.com/news/2019/11/scott-simmons-raves-about-anthony-rotichs-potential-i-honestly-think-hes-a-guy-who-can-medal-on-the-world-stage/I literally was coming to this thread to gloat about Rotich and was stunned to see some post ripping into me.
Ummmm... you didnt talk about the race.
At all.
No news article.
It's clear what you find interesting about this race.
The lady doth protest too much, methinks.
Where is the journalism?
2010 and 2011( the last time it was on the San Diego course) where the better years. It was actually the US trials that year. 2011 had Teg and a slew of other top guys, and Brent Vaughan had the races of his life and won. In 2009 Ritz beat a killer field, and let's not forget 2009 in the Capital City where Meb won. In 2010 and 2011 the women's fields where loaded too. Flowtrack has video of both of those races, but shortly after 2011 the US Cross Country Championship went downhill. They moved to 10k instead of 12k and it's not even the World Cross Country Trials anymore. I still remember in 2004 in Indiana when they had a 4k and 12k trials, actually that was a killer year and the race was run on a sheet of ice basically. Check out the field that year. I could care less now, as it's not a US Team Trial race for World Cross. I miss when the top guys would fight it out to make the US Team for World's.
Wasn't it the same day as the Marathon trials in 2004? Back then if you weren't running in the Marathon Trials you where at US Cross, and l can guarantee that since the Trials aren't for almost two months, everyone would have been there today. This event is a shell of itself. It was actually a US Team Trial race and everyone was there. And in 2004 when they had the 4k on Saturday and the 12k on Sunday, the best where there, actually everyone was there.

Do you need a fvking play by play of the race? Army guys dominated the least interesting year of the USA cross country championships.
The race happened today, like 10 hours ago. Letsrun always posts the initial results of a race quickly and then maybe the next day they release an article analyzing the results. So maybe you are whining a bit early.
And as far as the kenyan-american thing goes, it's ok to acknowledge facts about reality.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
