But you have to understand that I was 58 before I began running ( I am 64 now), and run with a body badly damaged by cancer and the life saving treatments that followed my diagnosis.
Also, I have osteoporosis (severely thinned bones, the result of radiation and chemotherapy), and arthritis in my knees.

So you are saying if you were physically healthier and had better circumstances you would be faster? That's a very interesting insight. I wonder if that applies to everyone else on the entire planet.
