I like the more objective comments using race results, but I have to chime in with a subjective one.
Me thinks that Tuohy's sub-par NXN was due to the stress of the three-peat, no more and no less. That is my interpretation of her post race comments. But, she was going to do whatever it took to win, no matter what. And that includes the scenario that Dudek was in the race. Tuohy has greater talent than anyone in the race, and was not going to let anyone of lesser talent beat her in her final HS race.
Dudek has run just one race anywhere close to Tuohy. It looks like a 5th place finish in a relatively weak field at Euro's makes the case for Tuhoy, not Dudek.
But I am a Tuohy fan, and I admit my bias.

Completely agree with you BSP. Dudek is fantastic and only getting better. But Tuohy is on another level. She was very open about NXN ad the pressures she let get to her.
She has been incredible for the past 3 years in XC and track....her 15:37 5k indoor time would place her in almost any NCAA Champion race. The whole Tuohy vs. anyone arguement is ridiculous when looking at HS results. Who knows what happens at the next level, but it will be fun to watch.
Funny thing is, I was not a Tuohy fan previous to coming on this board. Nothing against her, just never really cheered for the favorites...but I couldn't get past all the criticism posted towards her on these boards. Most of the people doing it are just trolls looking to get a reaction....but still catches me off guard how many people are slagging a young highschool phenom female...don't really see anyone do it on the mens side, but maybe because no one guy is as dominant.
