Narcos, Ozark and True Detective. Ozark is consistently good although things get a bit out of control the second season. The first season of Narcos is amazing. The subsequent seasons are still very good, but you cannot beat the portrayal of Pablo Escobar in the first season. The first season of True Detective is the best. But the other two are still very watchable.
Season 1 of True Detective was amazing, season 2 was a turd, the seasons aren't connected so you don't have to watch them, season 3 was OK, but not as good as one.
Rectify
Surprised no one has mentioned it yet
Check out The Ballad of Buster Scruggs"...typical Coen Brothers...very well done.

I raved about it in a long thread on Netflix recommendations a couple years ago. It's kinda a shame this thread wasn't merged with that one, it would make it a bit more useful.
Rectify is fantastic. I think it was the first episode of a season 4 maybe that had some of the deepest, heaviest sh** I've ever heard on tv.
I enjoyed the first and third seasons of TD. Mindhunters I'm in the middle of season two. Very good.
The Wire and Sopranos are prolly the best shows I've ever watched. It's all downhill after those.
"Carnivale" is really under appreciated.

We watched the first season and a half of Orange is the New Black but then drifted away. Thanks for the other suggestions.
Will second recommendations of
The Ballad of Buster Scruggs
BoJack Horseman
And add Maniac if it hasn't been said already

That was good, but does it count as TV?
Also on the topic of the Coen brothers, I'm not sure if the Fargo TV series is available on Netflix but it's excellent IMO.
I know the scene and would completely agree. One of the best emotional scenes in a show ever
While less well known, Rectify and the Leftovers are the two most devastatingly brilliant shows over the last 10 years. They both require patience and attention, but they pay off big time and both get stronger as they progress.
Netflix
Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee with Seinfeld
YouTube
Smokebox with Breal from Cypress Hill

Didn't do it for me. Meh.
I've been watching The X-Files on Amazon. Never watched it back in the day.
Speaking of Amazon, Jack Ryan is pretty good.
Homicide: Life on the Streets
