NAU had a bad day and not one of them had a really good day, so maybe they were sick or maybe tired after going too hard last week
Yeah well maybe their top 3 shouldn't have sprinted last week's 10k like it was the Olympic final.

Another idiot that doesn't know what they are talking about. That wasn't the reason they lost. Watch the the finish at regionals, they were no where near all out. Grijalva could have sang an aria after the race.
https://youtu.be/7bmAsRUNkyc?t=89Saw some footage of NAU congratulating BYU. Nice to see the rivalry and respect between the two programs. When you're at the pinnacle there's nowhere to go but down, which will happen eventually. But part of life is picking yourself up and pursuing excellence again. The journey back to the top will be more rewarding having overcome defeat.
Too bad we didn't get to see the top 3 teams mix it up more during the regular season. The mountain region killed it at nationals.
Agreed. With NAU being so young and with Clinger coming back from a mission, the rivalry should be fun to watch in the coming years.
NAU:
Bosley
Hasty
Nur
Raff
BYU:
Mantz
Clinger
Johns
Garnica
What's ironic is Hasty, Raft, Clinger and Johns competed in High School with or against one another at the Nike Nationals not long ago. Clinger won it as a junior and senior. He's beaten all of them head to head every time.

Add in Aiden Troutner, NXN champ over Hasty and Raff, to BYUs squad next year too!

BYU will obviously get some guys coming back from missions but who is to say what kind of shape they will be in after two years of no running.

1) How is that ironic?
2) Clinger is older than Hasty, Raff and Johns and I'd expect him to beat them.
NAU won. Nobody really gives a sh!t what those elderly Mormons do anyways. That kid that’s 26 is probably on his third wife by now.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
