Pretty rich coming from a college team with runners closer to their 30s than their teens. Wonder what the elders think of this?
Ha Ha, good one.

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot is right., except that I think he meant 10 not 18.
Clayson, if you're reading, please note this. I know its mindless, silly stuff you posted, intended for mindless, silly people, but consider how karma works before you taunt your opponents publicly.
If you have an off day can expect "The Most Interesting Man in Utah/"Stay humble my friend" and Clayson Shumway (Chuck Norris) jokes to appear.
"Clayson Shumway puts his pants on one leg at a time....in the same opening."
This is a prime example of why I have never looked at twitter. It is hard to believe anyone thinks this or almost anything else on twatter is worth the time it took to read.
This thread reminds me of TV news covering online social media posts as if they're news.
Kind of stupid to not know that 8 other people held and turned the pages of the plates.
Remember when BYU failed miserably based on expectations and hype last year at Nationals....and so many previous years as well.
over-rated. Underperforming. etc etc etc
Some pretty good stuff. Nothing beats a good troll of the thin skinned dumb dense mofos on the internet.
Dude is a lame punk.

Lunchtime rant:
I remember in 2017 when BYU got beat by a team they perfect scored on at the conference meet. That was pretty brutal. To "fail miserably" and still podium. Yeah I remember that.
I remember that year in track they qualified 4 runners in the 10k, but by the end 3 of them slowed down and were out of it completely. Mantz was sick, the others decided to conserve energy for the 5k.
In 2018 they took 2nd at nationals, and went on to qualify an unprecedented 6 guys in the 10k.
Here ya go:

At the end of the day this "over-rated and underperforming" team in recent years has still been the best performing distance squad in Cross Country and Track and Field combined.

They were ranked 2nd last year, expected to take second, and took a solid 2nd. The year previously they were ranked 2nd, expected to take 2nd, and took 3rd. They went 1, 3, 4 in the 10k on the track in 2019, and Rory took 2nd in the 10k in 2017. How is that "fail[ing] miserably?"
Boggles my mind any of you care about NCAA cross. I’m here for the conservative and liberal melt downs and info on how to break 3 hours in the marathon.
I'd rather suffer in Iowa than suffer life as a Mormon named "Clayson."
Being the son of a man named Clay is the only reason to have the name "Clayson." That, or a typo.
Rojo and wejo lucked out being twins, as they were each at grave risk of being named "Clayson," as they are the sons of a man named Clay.

It certainly seems that the connered the market for 10K runners in 2018.

Twitter is degraded culture. If you're on it, that's what you're endorsing, what you're functionally a part of. If you're truly educated and use it personally, you have a blind spot.
Twitter is the downfall of society and needs to be shut down. What's worse is that even NPR covers Twitter as if it is news. It needs to go away.

No way; I don't even have twitter but I love to watch our president shout from the ivory towers all day when I am bored at work. Some serious comedic gold in some of those posts.

Dad Shumway: I insist that we name our boy Clay.
Mom Shumway: Well I demand our son be named Jason.
Dad Shumway: Well maybe can compromise on some combination of these?
