For the women I have Sisson, Huddle and either Linden, Cragg or Taylor. Men I have Ward, Fauble and Stinson going. Not Galen and Jordan could win if they make it the starting line.

He also has run 61:24 this year (fastest half of any American in 2019) and has broken 2:10 three times (granted, they were a while ago). I don't think giving him a 1 in 20 chance is unreasonable.

Pretty sure Jorgensen didn't have the same surgery as Rupp. Rupp had to have his achilles detached and then reattached...

Korir is the only American that has given a healthy Rupp an honest race on the roads in recent years. Ward and Fauble have not shown that they have the ability to break 2:08. Korir did it in his debut.

I would put Korir at 70% and Ward and Fauble at 40%.

I agree with this. I don't see the Fauble/Ward/et al crowd taking things out at PR pace, which is what they'd need to do to drop Lagat, and he still probably has more speed than those guys.

Don't you realize they LOVE Ritz at LR. He gets a total pass for going to the NOP and any involvement he had with illegal injections was not his fault whatsoever. But yeah that would be like assuming Meb is coming out of retirement and giving him 5% too.
