Here is my profile before the breakthrough over this classic distance in Prague:
The women’s fave is Lonah Chemtai Salpeter, 30yo, ranked 68. Lonah has already run quickly over the half twice this year. In her last run, she was burned by Kipkirui here in Prague just four weeks before she runs here. That is good form, though, finishing in 66.09. Her breakthru in a marathon
came last year in Firenze, taking almost 16 minutes off her previous best to run 2.24.17. Over the previous two years she had run in Berlin, the London world champs, and the Rio Olympics.
And this is what i said about her before the half:
Next woman may be Lonah Chemtai Salpeter, 30yo and ranked 10 as a road runner as well as number 1 as a 10000m track runner. She won the Euro Champs 10000 last year. She ran 66.40 to win Ostia in Italy three weeks ago. Last year Lonah was 12th in Valencia and 2nd in Lisbon. She represents Israel.
