I was given her cookbook as a gift a few years ago. To be kind, it is a very mediocre cookbook. Very basic recipes with some random very inconvenient ingredients thrown in for no apparent reason. The food isnt particularly good or bad for GI issues. I cant imagine what you were eating before that switching to pretty normal food made a huge difference.
Actually, I disagree. It's full of healthy, flavorful food. Nothing is difficult to make, and by and large, I've enjoyed all the recipes I've tried. Yeah, a couple were a bit bland, but mostly I would say that it's pretty successful. Now, if you're looking for fine cuisine, you'll have to keep looking. But for straightforward, healthy recipes it's a good option. No opinion on their effect on GI issues though - not much one way or the other for me. .
Can you post a sample recipe?
