ESPN does not have the running time on screen
They mentioned that non-elite runners were in the men's pack and I'm looking at the tracker trying to figure out who wouldn't be considered an elite... can I tell by the bib number or something? I'm thinking Girma Bekele Gebre has a 443 bib number whereas everyone else has a very low number.

Just saw ELiud Kipchoge in the VIP area. He's watching Kamworor with Valentijn Truow . I asked Valentijn if I could interview Kipchoge to see if he'd ever want to run NYC and Valentijn said, "Maybe after the race. he's too nervous watching Geoffrey."
That’s awesome
Des about 18 secs behind leaders
Also what’s up with the pace car driving BEHIND the top three women’s leaders?!
I feel like the Facebook stream hasn’t shown the men at all since the first 5 minutes
Like wtf
can anybody tell what shoes Jepkosgei is wearing? new color of the new adidas shoe? looks bigger than Keitany's flats
Eurosport 2 live stream is the way to go
I’ve seen pretty much the whole race

That would be so cool.
Kitata's strategy perplexes me. I have no idea what he's trying to do out there.
I hate ESPN's Sports Science so much. "Let's just throw a bunch of numbers and units out there to sound smart and call it science." "Your average marathoner takes 55,687 steps over the course of the race, which is the same amount that a centipede takes if it were to take 2.6 laps around the White House! However, because each step the Marathoner takes generates 5.2 watts of power, over the course of a 138,435 ft length race, the runner would be able to generate enough energy to power precisely 57 toasters for approximately 4 hours, which would be just enough time to cook 11,002 centipedes to a crisp! SCIENCE!!!"

Would be cool to see Kipchoge finish up the 2 last marathon majors, NY and Boston! Hopefully he does it when he is still in top form instead of after he retires and just does it for kicks.

Not that I can see. Aga, however, seems to be unable to run in a straight line.

I have enough of this from physics class. Can we just enjoy the race?
Kitata dropped behind the lead pack
I'm really curious what the prize money and appearance fees are for Kipchoge at this point. How much would NYC have to shell out to poach him from Berlin? Could he sit and kick NYC for big bucks a few months after winning Tokyo next year?
