Seems like they're starting to put Hyper Burst in all of their performance line. I guess the main things that will set them apart for different types of runs are the amount of cushioning/stack height/weight to each shoe. Then obviously some of them have different uppers. The one with a plate will be the Hyper Burst Elite, which will come out just in time to miss most people's race window for the Fall. (Actually the Speed TRL has some kind of plate, but I'm not sure it's the same type of thing we're seeing in the carbon fiber road race shoes.)
The fast daily trainer is probably the Razor 3 Hyper.
Thanks for the input- I was just under the impression that the Razor 3 hyper was a race shoe, is that incorrect?
The Razor 3 is a racer, but a lot of people use it for fast training runs as well. I do quite a bit.
They also have the MebSpeed 6 with the Hyperburst foam that is a lightweight racer. Lighter than the Razor 3.
The "easy day" shoe is the GoRunRide 8.
And as mentioned, the Speed Elite Hyper (something like that) is not out yet, and is supposed to be a Nike Vaporfly competitor.
Pretty much everything now has Hyperburst foam. The Razor 3, MebSpeed 6, GoRunRide 8 and the upcoming Speed Elite all do.
Generally the MebSpeed is your shorter distance (5k, 10k) racer, with the Razor 3 being good for anything longer, as well as faster training runs. Then the GoRunRide for everything else.
