Making this Bible v. Quran has nothing do with whether the Virgin Mary's blood came out of a treadmill. Let's focus on that.

Why would she possibly do this? Does her church have an on-site genetics lab? Is her priest a former forensic investigator?
If she wants to know what the substance is, then her church should be the last place she takes the "blood." But that's the point. She doesn't want to know what it is. She already thinks she knows. She's just looking for validation of her "miracle" and the church is the perfect place to get that.

Why do you need to be a registered user to post in this thread? That's odd.

Easy, she's trying to prove a miracle. If you were trying to prove a miracle, would you take the evidence to a scientist who may laugh but would test the substance and tell you conclusively that it is not divine/sacred blood, or would you take it to a priest who would eyeball the sample, speak to god, speak to other priests and then possibly proclaim it's indeed a miracle?

Well, we are talking about miracles, serious topic so need to keep the trolls out... just verifiable posters and an unverifiable red fluid.
Holding a cross while running?
This is beyond insane.
I. JUST. DON'T. UNDERSTAND.
How can reasonably intelligent people think like this?
My biggest concern is this: Those who have shared with me their wild-sounding spiritual experiences have rarely if ever been able to express that biblical hope of salvation by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone. There is such a prevailing tendency to seek after grand experiences instead of seeking to master the word of God in order to be mastered by the word of God. One's devotion to God is best expressed through simple faith in His word and obedience to what He says.
On a side note, I would make a distinction between miracles and the supernatural works of God. The distinction is one of genus and species. All miracles are supernatural works of God, but not all supernatural works of God are miracles.
It's a supernatural work of God when someone is born again by the power of the Holy Spirit or healed of cancer when the doctors said there was no hope. Miracles, however, were a form of special revelation from God to authenticate His verbal revelation. Hence, the prophets of old like Moses and Elijah were given miraculous signs to perform to confirm that their message was His message through them. The same is true in a grand fashion of the miraculous signs that were performed by the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
At this point the words of Jesus probably

Supernatural is an oxymron. All that exists must by necessity be natural.

I must concede this point - in fact, I bet Jesus was thinking of your future post here when he said that!

IT. IS. REALY. SIMPLE.
It's called faith.
It works wonders for many people and not just in a religious context.
Julia - any updates on the blood sample analysis???
What were the results of the blood test?
Do you really think there's going to be a blood test?
She was going to take the sample to her church. Churches don't do blood test. She doesn't want a blood test. She wants validation. A blood test won't give her validation. A priest will.
Thanks, again for proving my points by addressing none of my scientific or historic points. I have no idea whether the claimed phenomenon occurred but I do not dismiss it out of hand as do so many on this thread.
Remember, the best friends of atheists in the west over the centuries have been the people of the Old and New Testaments. You are safe with us while we are never safe in the atheistic paradises that so recently ruled much of this planet. Just say thanks, disagree politely and leave the name calling alone.
If only one person on this thread becomes curious, reads a study Bible and gains from the experience, that will be a big positive for me. I'm relatively new to the game.
3/10 - some points because I responded but low score because you are trying too hard
Miracle?? Bleeding household appliances are clearly Satanic. Don't sit around celebrating them, just get the f*ck out of the house.
