Some shoes that I have tried make my legs noticeably sore the next day (like running in very worn shoes). Other shoes did not but these have all been discontinued. I need something with at least moderate stability. Any recommendations?

I wear the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 19 and havent felt any soreness the next day. I suppose everyone is different though and you might just have to keep trying different ones before you find the one that works best for you. I used to wear the Saucony Guide for years, but they changed the fit and I cannot wear them anymore. Those had zero break in period. Good luck in your search!
