If Rupp decides to call it quits with Pete and the rest of the former NOP athletes, where would he go? Tough to imagine any of the other US Nike groups taking him on. Bowerman and OTC seem like they wouldn't want his dark cloud around them.

Bowerman is about the only likely place.
He'll want to stay in Oregon for the wife and kids. He'll stay with Nike. He'll have access to the same drugs and the same protections. And Jerry's strength based training will likely benefit him tremendously.

I can assure you that Schumacher wants nothing to do with Rupp. The converse is also likely true.

BTC athletes may want it to appear that way, but they're all on the same drugs. Same connections. Same protections. Why not bring in one of America's all time greats?
