Any ideas what will happen to the athlete's contracts?
Nothing.

Think Rupp ever races again?
Of course. Starting in 3 days.
Salazar is an American hero. He is innocent. The NOP should live on to build on Salazar’s legacy. I’m literally shaking right now because of how mad I am about this. Nike should be cancelled.

Back in 1980s, penny stock investment firms would be sued by one or more clients, subject of SEC & FBI investigation, go bankrupt. The same principal owners would simply start another penny stock investment firm. Phil Knight knows. Knight's not fooling me. I hope Phil Knight is not fooling LRC.
Looks like it's fooling most people.
Smart choice to rebrand as a "different" group while functionally changing nothing.

Pumpkin Ass is shaking? Do tell...
If you think this is just rebranding you need to talk to Pro coaches. Phone calls are being made right now.
Anyone know if we can still buy the gear? Always thought the design looked cool.
Great news. Now Rupp can join the Hoka Elite team!!!!
You knew things were going to change when the Wall Street Journal wrote a story about Parkers direct involvement in the NOP doping scam. This was a dereliction of his fiduciary duties.
Parker will go down in flames lit by his own doing.

I imagine the next shareholders meeting is going to be brutal for Parker.
You mean because the whole Chinese democracy/basketball thing? Right? Or do you actually think that a running club has any impact on the stockholders at Nike

End of an error.
I respect NOP after this whole scandal, they wanted to push the boundaries and were willing to do whatever it takes to be successful. That is a championship mindset. Reminds me a lot of the Detroit Pistons from 1988-1990. A lot of the weak-ass grandstanding track "clubs" and their athletes are acting all morally superior even though they might be doing similar things that NOP was accused of doing. Notice how NN running team or their athletes say nothing about this, but a lot of the BTC athletes can't wait to express their opinion on the matter. BTC is weak, NOP is strong.
Well done NOP I respect you as a group. You will never be forgotten, no matter how much many of the virtue-signaling haters will want to trash you.

He should join the best coach in the history of the sport, Tinman!
Wow. It's for real. So many posts on my IG feed are gone. Gonna miss their stuff.
Rupp to NN running team
Blocked as well. When Centroids has posted the yawning picture I simply said “you should take this seriously, this is not anything to yawn at.” I was blocked 20 min later
To me this is bs. You say we are still backing Al Sal but are ending NOP because of the distraction to the athletes WITHOUT at the same time saying how their support financially and training wise of the athletes is paramount.
Sad.
Only company and team that supported running with big money. This is sad.
Think about finding a company that will ever get that behind American distance running.
Congrats to Kara for biting the hand.
I hope the bread crumbs from Hoka are enough to go around. This is a sad day.
All I want to know is what singlet Rupp will wear this weekend.
I think the skull logo was lame anyway. I hope Julian’s NOP 2.0 group has a better logo but keeps the signature black kit.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
