The peloton of 6 is going to have to get going. Just 2 laps to go.

Chepkoech looks nonplussed, don't see her coming back.
Brilliant attempt by Emma
How about Krause? Nice last 1K.
A lifetime best in these conditions, not too bad.
Frerichs goes home devastated. zero races, zero medals.

I don't think it's too bad inside the stadium because of the cooling.
Lasitskene with v first tiny sign of any emotion. Cunningham with a PR right behind her keeping pressure on with no misses. 4 now at 6' 71/2"!!

Yes, not TOO bad, but saw a trackside thermometer at over 80 degrees and more than temps, most of the athletes have been commenting on the high humidity inside.

Exciting competition, although the Russian is cool as a cucumber. I think I'm watching a Ukranian feed and there's a lot of attention on their athletes. And its funny to hear them pronounce Vashti Cunningham...
Now a feature on the XY DSD 800 athletes ... "elevated testosterone" but no mention of the fact that they are all XY.
Typical ....
Mahuchikh clears 2.02 for JWR.
Women's 800m on the line...
Really hoping for a 123 sweep in the 800
Shiver me timbers, W 800 up already and M 400H final shortly after. I may have to go out and run a double after all this action, (for the 3rd day in a row!)
Nice to see a WOMEN's 800. Feels like I've never seen one before.
Out in 57.9, Wilson keeping it cool
Rogers left it REALLY late...
