Actually I believe Barega, Chelimo and Filip will share the medals, do not know who gets what.

OP was right. The organizers are fixing things to ensure Jakob has the best shot of bringing home the gold. Rules be damned!

Zola Budd mentally broke after LA. She's now a very decent ultramarathoner at fifty plus beating girls half her age. No sign of her body being burnt out. Comparison between Wang and Jakob is just stupid.

I EXPECT Jakob Ingebrigtsen to have a Career like Eliud Kipchoge, where he is very good at a young age, and just keeps getting better. Jakob Ingebrigtsen is in fact the NEXT Eliud Kipchoge.
At this point I'd like Jakob to win just to 'hear' the DQ-crew's inevitable REEEEEE.
Oddsmakers says toss up between Barega and Jakob for win
Betfair:
Barega 3.2
Jakob 3.25
Bekele 5
Edris 8.5
Chelimo 10
Filip 11
Bet365
Jakob 3
Barega 3.2
Bekele 5.5
Edris 6.5
Chelimo 11
Filip 15
If you believe the race won't go sub 13-13.05 , which is likely, I'd say a Filip bet at 15 with bet365 looks decent value based on how strong he looked in prelim.
Barega or Jakob ftw wrote:

I put some money on Barega back when he was at +350. I'll throw something on Chelimo I suppose at +1000.
Coleman at -175 before the prelims was free money, as was Hassan at like +150.
What time in the EST is this race being run today? Thanks.
I think Jakob has a very good chance if he runs inside the track, like he did in his heat.

Go here. It gives you the schedule in Local Time and Your Time.

They would rather not talk about that. ?
He should get ballsy and make a pass on the inside just to test Seb Coe’s limits; hurdle over some chairs and equipment, then pop out 10 meters ahead. Or maybe he could take a ride on the rail camera during the final straight.

Why wouldnt we? Team Ingebrigtsen's explained the use of high altitude training as the most propable reason why he got flagged, but they dont know for sure. No outsider knows, included Henrik, but what we do know is that he got tested 37 times afterwards as a direct consequence. Thats all to it, everything else is pure speculations.
Fillip is better.

Good ideas! lol.
And if he falls way behind, cutting straight across the infield to the other straightaway might work.

If they suspected "altitude training" and not an ESA, why would they target test him 37 times? (anti-doping experts can tell the difference with hematological anomalies that are altitude-induced suspected ESA use/blood transfusions primarily by the characteristics of the RET%).

That's right "Test" him 37 times to clear up his image. We know how it works dude.

Team Ingebrigtsen suspected that, but Gjert also told the national newspaper VG that its strange as the experts should spot the difference. As I wrote; no outsider really knows why he is on that list.

Be my guest if you really think antidoping Norway works in such manners.
