Children with Kristin:
Before he began chemotherapy for testicular cancer, Lance banked sperm. His children were conceived with that banked sperm through in vitro fertilization. Luke (b. 10/12/1999), Isabelle Rose (b. 11/20/2001), and Grace Elisabeth (b. 11/20/2001).

Nothing you said above casts any validity on atheistic theory
You use the term ATHEISTIC THEORY while describing at great length how stupid everyone else is? What exactly is ATHEISTIC THEORY? It's not in Wikipedia. Is there a complex ASANTACLAUSTIC THEORY people rely on to explain to first graders that their xmas presents aren't actually put under the tree by a jolly fat man in a red suit?
good one... wrote:

You, sir, are an idiot.
Is it perchance,
You stated, "The internet is full of nameless parasites on humanity that should be removed from society." That is a very tolerant and Christian ideal. It doesn't matter what we believe in as long as we are tolerant and accepting of each others views. We need to not pass judgement on Lance because he is agnostic or pass judgement on those who do believe. I would think God would be more likely to accept someone who did good throughout his or her life than someone who passes judgement and believes he or she is superior to others because he reads the bible.
We need to make this a better place to live in, not fight about something that happend 2000 years ago. None of us will know until we die if there is a heaven, hell, Jesus, etc.

Right-o, Righto. So because you're not, help me out - ATHEISTIC THEORY is (fill_in_the_blank).
I wake up and a battle has broken out on letsrun.com. So, what's new, huh?
What have we determined in this thread?
-That Lance Armstrong wears a cross around his neck because it was given to him by a woman who died of cancer and not anyone is interested in why she gave it to him or why she thought giving him the cross was important. Hmmmmm...
-People still have freedom to choose to love what the cross stands for or hate what it stands for.
Some hate it and are lost, just as Lance is after his seventh consecutive quest for Paris. Some love it and are found. Simple. Free choice offered to Jews and gentiles alike. Dont' be confused though and base your belief on what other humans (priests, bike riders, writers, even myself...) have to say. Search for the truth yourself.
"If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free..." - John 8:31,32
Ricky Williams said this yesterday:
"Before I left, I had a different concept of what freedom was. I thought freedom was doing whatever you want to do whenever you want to do it. Being away and having a chance to learn a lot about myself, I realized that freedom is having the strength to be in any situation and be content with that situation. So I see this as a great opportunity for me to work on that.:
This thread is an opportunity for folks to work out eternity and figure out what freedom is methinks...I'd suggest it has nothing to do with winning the TdF.
Agnostics do not hate the cross nor do most atheist. They are simply skeptics. Everyone knows that Jesus Christ lived, but the question is whether or not he is a profit or a great man. Atheists don't believe a God exsists, that does not mean they hate Jesus and God. Most of them were probably religious at one time like myself, and then thought very hard and did a lot of open-minded studying and are now skeptics. I still try to live by strong morals but I am skeptical and don't see a reason to believe in Christianity because I realize I will never know until I die. I then hope if there is a God he will chose me for what good I have done, not because I believed in something a book (which could be as false as the internet you people are talking about, but yet your still playing around on it). If you believe don't be a hypocrit.
JIHAD !!!!! LETSRUN HAS TURNED INTO A BATTLE GROUND !
Every other sect supposes itself in possession of the truth, and that those who differ are so far in the wrong. Like a man traveling in foggy weather they see those at a distance before them wrapped up in a fog, as well as those behind them, and also people in the fields on each side; but near them, all appears clear, though in truth they are as much in the fog as any of them. --Benjamin Franklin

Good to know that Ricky Williams, chest deep in weed for years, is now spewing buzzwords from the 12 step meetings someonehas made him attend.
Why the hell is this thread still here? I've seen the mods let the Jesus vs. Jesus-free threads linger for a few hours before - almost as if to serve as biblical prophetss by giving false hope to their followers - but this one may be a keeper...
YOU JESUS FREAKS WHO QUOTE THE BIBLE ARE THE SAME PEOPLE TO CUT PEOPLE OFF WHEN THEY DRIVE AND SCREW YOU EVER EVERY CHANCE THEY GET. YOU GUYS ARE THE SAME TYPE OF PERSON LANCE'S MOM DATED WHO BEAT LANCE!

For both you and the earlier idiot that didn't know how to spell the word, it's prophet; p-r-o-p-h-e-t. It is not profit. You're welcome.
#1 Book of 2004-The Devinci Code (a book of Jesus)
#1 Movie of 2004-The Passion of Christ (a story of Jesus)
#1 Recognized Funeral of 2004-The Pope (a follower of Jesus)
It seems somewhat ironic that Jesus can have such a strong effect on a world that constantly makes fun of him.
Who knows though, maybe in 2000 years Lance Armstrong will still carry the hope of millions.

Let's see, you can't spell for beans and you ramble about a book you obviously haven't read. This must be a rerun of "You Might Be A Christian If..."
Come on man.
Does the fact that Doc spelt something wrong:
a/ automatically indicate he has never read the book?
b/ make you feel more intelligent than him, and therefore able to automatically dis-miss his point?
Lighten up dude. I think he was just pointing out that "religious" themes are very present in today's culture. You alright with that?
If there is a heaven, getting in is a lot like gambling. It has nothing to do with strength of character, free choice/will or even faith. It has to do with where you were born, what you were brought up with, and how difficult your life is. If you were born in a christian family, you hit the jackpot, you will be raised christian and have very little chance of losing faith. If you were not born christian, but have a bad life and lose your will, you are still lucky, because you are going to be lost and more than likely will choose religion to pick yourself up. If you were not born christian and have a good life, chances are you are out of luck, you have no reason to believe, so you will be going to hell. Also, if you are born in Asia, the Middle East or Africa, you are also out of luck because there is very little chance you will be convinced of anything other than what you were brought up with, thus you will be going to hell. Then again, you never know, maybe the Muslims, Mormons, Jews, Taoists, Buddhists or one of the very specific denominations of christianity were correct. Basically, spin that roulette wheel and hope your color or number comes up because if it doesn't, there is an eternity of hellfire waiting for you.
