It's what plants crave.
It's what plants crave.
Gatorade and Pringles are what get me through my marathon Fornite battles.
I would argue that sugar water is certainly not optimal
You're better off just drinking water and then eating healthy food
Eat a banana, drink some water, and then have a really nutritious meal of a lot of vegetables and healthy carbs complex carbohydrates healthy protein and healthy fats
If you're an endurance athlete and you really need an electrolyte mix there's much better stuff for you than Gatorade. Get a good balanced electrolyte mix if you're really an endurance athlete but that's a very small percentage of people
Reasonable response but I would disagree
Gatorade is basically a mild poison 2 Optimal human health
Cigarettes are a severe poison
Alcohol in abused is a serious poison
Recreational drugs are serious poisons
And then we have a lot of unhealthy food which can be classified as mildly poisonous to Optimal Health
There's no reason to be drinking sugar water. It would just get in the way of proper hydration and proper nutrition
School should set an example of what we promote in society.
The kids are being exploited because they are following social norms which are again not optimal. We can debate about how bad they are but they're certainly not in the best interest of
It's money combined with ignorance hence the reason for this thread
Like you said we wouldn't let Philip Morris sponsor a cigarette award
We probably wouldn't let Coca-Cola or Pepsi because most people look at them as being unhealthy
But the reason for this post is because Gatorade is basically the same as drinking a Coke or Pepsi. So you're right obviously money is a big factor but if we spread the word and get people to realize that it's not healthy stuff that's good for athletes then maybe a lot of people won't buy into it

There's a Wendy's High School Heisman award given out to the best football players every, basically the same thing as the Gatorade award. Maybe it's time to go start another thread so you can bash Wendy's?
