What a crap race by Warholm, what if he does it well!

No.

No. / Quite a meet. Those fans stood for at least the whole 2 hours of the broadcast.
Mens 400mH: holy crap?

Broadcast over? I'm still watching. w4x100r.
Warholm is a beast. That just overtook the 800m as race of the night. Holy sh*t was that amazing. Benjamin just might break the WR before he retires. So smooth.

Koko looked genuinely excited about this result. Not that she shouldn't be, but any idea why? It wasn't a PB was it? Good payday? Good sign for what's to come maybe? Her and Hassan both looked excited for Koko actually.
It was a SB within 1/10 of Koko's PB and it was a somewhat tactical race with a fast finish which is not her forte. And she was simply happy about her friend and her going 1-2. It's interesting that after looking genuinely strained in Birmingham she is back to her happy and relaxed self almost immediately after the finish (which always leaves the impression she could have tried harder).
My favorite mid/distance races of today were M 800m and 5000m, though, the men beat the women for excitement and unpredictability.
You didn't like "scalp," but did you appreciate "looks like they are running in treacle" or the "glorious sunset over Zurich."

Funny how Benjamin said it was poor execution in his post race interview, while Warholm said hurdle number 9 was "awful" for him...
If they put together a perfect race it looks like they both have the WR in them.

They both beat Dibaba which was completely unexpected. I remember when German 1500m runner Hannah Klein beat Dibaba at the Olympics and it was worth more to her than any championship she ever won before.
Dibaba lost to only Kipyegon at the Olympics... if you are referring to the WC17 final in which Dibaba was reportedly ill, then yes, I hope that meant a lot to her.
Dibaba here actually looked really good through 200m to go... but , clearly had an injury problem.
BTW mens 100m had real times.
It’s about time.
Hopefully Doha will not be cringe-worthy.
Why is Karsten Warholm entering without shoes and any signs of his sponsor Puma??? He just signed for them?
*entering the closing ceremony

The men's 100 is starting to mirror the women's 800...real times by real athletes.

remember Kevin Young also knocked down the last hurdle in his WR, so no one has a perfect race

You are correct, it was London WC 2017 semi-finals where Dibaba barely made it to the finals (qualified by time).
https://youtu.be/qzAorQ_hLbw?t=17Just wanted to demonstrate how much beating Dibaba means to most 1500m runners, you can clearly see her excitement when she mentions it.

Sure.. But Young ran 13,13,12,12 and then 13s
Warholm stuttered on the 9th and did 15-15 last two hurdles.
Benjamin knocked down first and stuttered a bit on 5th..
Feels like they are way within margin of 46.78, maybe on a not perfect day as well, but for sure in a perfect race.

no, there had only been 2 total performances under 47.00 before tonight. Kevin young in 1992 and Samba last year.
And yet...we hear nothing about where Samba is and why he has chosen to run open 400's this season...
