Weed is not a PED. But dope testing wasn't originally about PED's, it was about getting rid of the long haired hippie drug users. It was the 1960s.
Were you there?

USADA is about to come down hard on the CBD oil industry by using the example of an athlete that claims tested positive for THC because of a specific CBD oil product.
It'll be interesting to see the consequences of this. Maybe LRC will need to find a different sponsor.
In today's climate, that athlete will become a cult hero and likely gain some kind of industry sponsorship..this isn't 20 years ago where you were ruled a drug addict and your career was likely over..
Hilarious that this even makes news anymore..
So looking on the Floyd’s of Leadville site, the only “runner” is this long haired dude:

Anyone ever heard of this “ultra runner”?
150 mg/nl? Oh yeah, that's super high. To trigger that with full spectrum CBD you'd have to be drinking a quart of it a day. Thanks for the info!
What's so bad in CBD? It's not going to affect his results anyway!
What's so bad in CBD? It is not going to affect his results anyway! I’m taking CBD oil after work out, and I cannot say that it helps me to perform better in the gym or run faster on a trade mill after CBD. It just helps me to relax, and not suffer from pain on the next day after a productive workout. I buy CBD oil on https://knockoutcbd.com/cbd-product-category/cbd-oil-tincture/, and I can say that it has a THC level of less than 0,3%, which is nothing compared to medical marijuana. I think that someone just wants to get rid of this person, like eliminate the competitor, and this the only reason they found something.

I remember a WADA interview where the reporter asks why WADA list recreational drugs like weed are on the banned list . The said something like "moral responsibility" .

It's ridiculously stupid that they test for things which don't improve performance..
Ever heard of competitive eating?
I don't think CBD or THC should be banned in competition. I'm not up-to-date on the rules any longer, but for example - alcohol used to be banned for sports like archery and darts. So how did that work with athletics? Could you be banned for that or was it sport-specific? Did any organisation that works across a range of sports ban alcohol?
The reason I'm asking that is that alcohol could potentially be performance enhancing in some sports, although obviously not likely to be for athletics.

I don't think it was that bad for this sportsman because it's impossible to get a lousy test from cannabis. I have an excellent opinion of cannabis in general. I think it's instrumental. These plants produce over 400 compounds, more than sixty of which are unique to cannabis plants. And they can be isolated for medical and other purposes. And there are so many CBD products out there now that almost every one of them helps with a particular problem. It is even possible now to give gifts from a collection of various valuable tinctures. I recently gave my mother a set of https://www.parents.com/parenting/moms/9-cbd-oil-gifts-for-moms/на for her birthday.
