There are over 1000 high school boys running under 2 minutes every year in America alone.
That does not include duplicates or coaches who do not report their athletes times.
I meant 4000!

I hope Semenya actually said all that in third person. "Semenya has never felt the love from other female runners!!" *pounds fists on podium*

It is generally accepted practice in English that pronouns refer to a person's gender, not their biological sex. Her gender is female, please use female or gender nuetral pronouns, that is all I am saying. The word "dude" is not a biological word, and therefor she is not a dude. This is unrelated to whether she should be allowed to compete in the women's division of IAAF. I think no to that, I just want everyone to stop calling her names, which is what using male pronouns is doing.
Dude, ...I didn't call Caster a dude
However, you are derailing an argument over an important issue by focusing on such semantics, that's all it is. You say gender I say sex.
Do you think the girls getting their ar$$es whipped by a biologically male person care about pronouns?
There is a very important distinction between gender and sex, and that distinction is at the heart of the issue here. Those two words do not mean the same thing, and conflating the two betrays ignorance at best, hate at worst.
Challenging yes. But she has taken advantage of it and probably profited immensely.......at the expense of the women without testes, who train like dogs only to be relegated to second, third, forth etc. I thus have no sympathy for her at all. "So what" indeed. Just go away.

Then you don't support women's sports.
Nothing inherently wrong with that position but just be clear that it is the position that you are taking.
Myself, I do support women's sports. And males should not be allowed to compete in them (hard to believe this needs to be said).
The problem with this, is your inference may well be incorrect.
It depends how you want to define "women". If Caster is included in this, then you are incorrect, this is indeed supporting womens sports.
I personally don't care, I'm more bothered about lazy arguments and definitions. I sort of agree in some ways with Caster. Her issue in the video is more "stop finding excuses and trying to justify stuff with stats, just ban me if you want to ban me". It seems like she would be fine with this, so why not do it. Just as long as she doesn't then whine saying "you had no reason to ban me".

No, he isn't. He just wants to increase the page view by stirring up. Look how many keyboard warriors have been already triggered.

the best athlete should win based on merit. Gender should not come into play
I was the first to state on this board more than 10 years ago my opinion that he is an a-hole.
Unfortunately that opinion continues to be validated.

The comments on that YouTube video are brutal.
He’s a jerk. Make a lot of money playing this facade of sport.

Hahahaha. LOL. I got a chuckle out of the poster writing the post that way. Obviously just avoiding gender pronouns by always referring to Semenya as Semenya!

Caster was misgendered at birth. The she label was applied based on appearance. Has Caster ever come out as a lesbian?
That’s indeed a tough question, but she married a woman.
Actually they swabbed them 50 years ago.
Its only because they stopped that practice that she got through

Yeah a billygoat.
I want Ryan Hall to declare, keep his tackle, then win the marathon. I am sure he can find 2:15

No problem with that. Males are more talented than females
Weldon, I respectfully disagree. I don't think Caster misses the nuance that you perceive. I think her point is why are we sacrificing those that are different? Why can't we accept her the way she is, and accept others like her, and why haven't we provided a place for them? WHY HAVEN'T WE PROVIDED A PLACE FOR THEM? "My Father's house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?" We perceive that she is more different from the majority then the majority are different among themselves. My opinion is that we are missing the point of the Kingdom: That the Kingdom is built within us, and to be built it requires a minimum of two people, each appreciating the uniqueness of the other and also the uniqueness of themselves. That is the foundation of compassion. That is the foundation of expanding our minds to think outside of ourselves. Compassionate hearts beat stronger. Compassionate minds are wiser. Make no mistake. Castor is a great one. Despite aggression surrounding her, she maintains her peace, she maintains her self-respect, she is confident that she is accepted by the Creator. If Castor is accepted by the creator, and we are SO different from her, then why would the Creator accept us? And if the Creator accepts us both, then why can we not accept her and provide a place for her and others like her? The problem is not her. The problem is us. Personally I take advantage of the opportunity to embrace someone who is different from me, because it opens my heart and mind. It makes me feel alive. And it subconsciously reinforces that I am just as appreciated. Respectfully, Fogrunr
Simple. It's a sport that is suppose to be a fair even playing field for all. Caster has a distinct advantage. Sticking up for himself/herself is irrelevant. I'm a Christian, yes I really am. This is not the Bible, it's sport and Caster is not a woman as the others are that she's running against. To not see and accept that is to be one with blinders on. You babbled on far too much.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
