Big pb for Jamie Webb - 1:44.52. Kyle Langford breaks 1:45 for first ever time, easing up at the end as well.
All four of my tips for Tokyo - Kyle Langford, Jakob, Amos Yee - set pbs today.

Brave of the interviewer to be so close to Langford after a bad race.

Langford set a PB, ya dweeb.
Abda scheduled to bring it through in 49.5 and he hits 49.48. Is he the new Bram Som?
Great Britain is struggling over Men's 800m this year.
USA has 5 guys ahead of Langford, which is GBR #2 and 3 guys ahead of #1 Webb.

Weird way to spin a 9th and 12th place finish, but okay.
Warholm 47.12 in a solo run
Warholm 47.12 stutter-stepping the last hurdle. Norway athletes are on fire

The 400h at the DL finale / Worlds coud be the greatest race in history. Could three guys all break the WR at once?

I thought he was ready for a world record coming into the meet with his current form and comments. Hit a hurdle and had an awkward last hurdle. I do not know if we have a favorite this year but the world record will fall in Doha..
The discrepancy between the top 3 in the 400 hurdles this year and the rest of the field is remarkably huge. Not only are those 3 guys in incredible form, but barely anyone else in the world has been able to scratch sub-49 consistently. It's so weird.
The first race for Warholm since Bislett.
He has put in a lot of training.
Warholm had to go to 14 steps over the last hurdle.
Big run from Tiernan. 13:12 PB, second Aussie and gets the standard. Unless McDonald runs faster Tiernan might have just booked his ticket to Doha, and Tokyo.
Aussies crushing the Americans at the moment in the distances.
Warholm is my favorite sprinter for the past couple of years.

Similarly, men’s 400 hurdles is most of the others without the big two, the obvious gold and silver at both DL final and worlds
This season so far in this event seems to be unusual. If you set the bar at under 48.57, we only have three runners this year compared to 12 and 15 the last two years. Seems as though in the two big finals this year, the Diamond League and the World’s, the top two could go either way, third is set, McMaster and Copello fighting for 4th and fifth, then Selmon, Clarke, and Holmes filling the last places. The only possibility of breaking that up. IMO, is a successful return of Kerron Clement.
Warholm closes on the top two
This can be one cool 1500m
Let's check the data, as you've somehow made this about two countries (I'm Spanish, so I'm neutral), but you are incorrect. Australia is only doing better over 1500m at the moment - 800m - Americans 1:43.63, 1:44.41, 1:44.47 800m - Aussies 1:45.51, 1:45.56, 1:45.98 1500m - Aussies 3:31.81, 3:35.10, 3:35.85 1500m - Americans 3:35.14, 3:35.27, 3:35.32 5000m Americans 13:05.70, 13:09.81, 13:17.23 5000m - Aussies 13:05.63, 13:12.68, 13:18.91 10,000m - Americans 27:32.89, 27:34.01, 27:43.89 10,000m - Aussies 27:56.98, 27:58.97, 27:59.29 3000m Steeplechase - Americans 8:08.41, 8:15.94, 8:16.52 3000m Steeplechase - Aussies 8:29.48, 8:31.38, 8:33.90

This year so far I have read De Grasse, Z.Hughes, and Y.Blake will be there Saturday.
Those three are outside the top 8 currently with just this and Birmingham before the Zurich final.

Great run by Laura Muir, closing her last lap in 57.54 to win the 1500 in 3:58.25.
Gabriela DeBues-Stafford runs 4:00.26 to break the 34-year-old Canadian record of Lynn Williams by .01!

Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
