Loved the first day of two last year, especially the two heats of 100 metres then 70 min later, a final.

The two heats had 13 or 14 sprinters capable of 9.99 or quicker with some still needing finals points to make the Diamond League 100 final. Enthralling.

This year so far I have read De Grasse, Z.Hughes, and Y.Blake will be there Saturday.

Those three are outside the top 8 currently with just this and Birmingham before the Zurich final.
Noticed Farah and Sweet Little Tanya Kitten in Lewis Hamilton's Mercedes Benz garage/control room at yesterdays UK Grand Prix, does that mean he's running this weekend?
Bit slack, only five days to go and no full start lists yet, only this:
Also, the Emsley Carr Mile looks like being a bit ordinary if this is anything to go by:
What do you make if you win a diamond league race?
Probably $10k US at least, right?
London doesn't like anything to get excited about. wrote:

You are right on both counts. How can they say full start lists are out?

We can add Coleman and three more UK sprinters.
It actually has a strong British lineup. Charlie Grice fresh from his stunning Monaco performance will be there, as well Chris O'Hare and Jake Wightman. Filip and Tefera in there, as well as Nick Willis who is getting back into form.
So we could well see a fast time and European guys at the front.

I thought those start lists may have been out by now, maybe tomorrow?
This post was removed.
Start lists are now out. Ten men that have PB’s under 10 sec across the two heats
Hassan v obiri 5000

Women’s 400 is the battle for the minor medals at world champs: naser, shericka, and Seyni.

Similarly, men’s 400 hurdles is most of the others without the big two, the obvious gold and silver at both DL final and worlds

Simbine, DeGrasse, Z.Hughes, Y.Blake, Cissé, Kiryu, T.Tracey, Ujah, Gemili, and Forte. No Americans. See over two tight sprints 70 min apart who wants the points reqd to make the final.

Men’s race not for points but Peachtree 10k road winner Rhonex Kipruto in his only twelve and a half lap race. And speaking of laps, let’s hope Hagos can count to eleven before he takes off this time. Jacob I. as well stepping up.
Men’s 5000 (even though it’s non-Diamond League) and women’s 1500 are the races to be excited about imo.
In the 5000 there are some really strong Brits:
Andy Butchart who seems to be in good form at the moment
Nick Goolab has been in great form this year, running Butchart and Farah close until the end of the Vitality 10000 and having some great 5k times on the roads.
Alex Yee is likely much better than his PB if he’s in form. (Shout out Kent AC)
Ben Connor ran really well for first Brit at the Night of the 10000s
Can’t wait to watch it.

And while Hassan jumps up in distance, most of the other major players battle in the 1500: Kipyegon, Muir, Tsegay, Arafi, Embaye, Stafford, and Winny Chebet.
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
