The decline continues. Is it Veganism, Burnout, or Poor Training? How many women beat him today?
What was his time and place?
His diet is deficient. This if you look at his strava, is causing him to be slacking in his training. The burnout is from not being able to properly recover from his races and training, due to his deficient diet.
So what happened?

Comrades was 3 weeks ago. He's no Yuki. Shouldn't he take a rest week, then get back into training before racing? Maybe he just used this for a long run to get specific race experience. Or maybe he is more valuable to his sponsor at this point for showing up at races and doing promotions rather than results.

According to him on Strava, his legs were dead after 2 miles and it was a struggle to finish. He states he thought Comardes was his worse preformance, but this one was a bit worse.

That burger.... looks amazing.
I would say 100% burnout. That's what running pointlessly long gets people. His faster stuff was all in the beginning before long slow distance.

Watched a few of them over the years. Like Groundhog Day: It's my fault, not Coach Sandi's, I should have taken more rest, should race less frequently, etc.

Cracks me up that these “Hobby Sub-Elites” make these “Training Videos” in an attempt to “educate” the masses (in a Wikipedia/Runners World fashion). Yet, like Sage, when they attempt to “practice what they preach” - they fail miserably - and undercut their credibility. Hobby Subs: Why try to teach others when you can’t even teach yourself?

I am losing respect for this clown. He was just a dude running for Keith and his brother, but then he tried to be something special and move up to the ultra ranks, and then act like some coaching genius, all the while pursuing his dream of being a world-class Ultra Runner, but he's turning into a nobody. His channel is going to go right up there with those stupid clowns the Athlete Special, Ben Barrows, and that fool Zach. When he does is next video I don't want to see him making any excuses because that is so lame. He should just say ,"hey I suck".

Yep, he's forgetting the other 3 phases. He is only doing phase one. To reach your full potential you have to do the other three phases of training.
Look at his diet. Tons of pro-inflammatory carbs (Vegan Waffles? Seriously?). No wonder he can’t recover - his “Veganism” is a hoax - it’s really a Carb-filled aka pro-inflammatory diet masquerading around as “healthy Veganism”. Now you see why so many vegans decline - years and years of high carb/high inflammatory foods.
He probably raced just to make a new Youtube video and other marketing stuff, that's his main job.
