Yes, I agree with this 100 percent, provided we pick the right Progressive candidate, the only candidate who represents the working class of America, Bernie Sanders.
Bernie represents all of us, and that's what we want.
Breaking News Bill De Blasio has ENDED his Campaign, De Blasio will not be the next President #46, President Trump is breathing a sigh of relief.
DeBlasio was still in it?

Was he ever really in it?
As a Rep, of course (using the Canadian born Ted Cruz trick)
The solution to global warming is nuclear power.
It looks like Cory Booker finally gets it: (It has been obvious to intelligent people for years)

Part of a solution. Don't put all your eggs into one basket.
In the case of nuclear power significant money needs to be spent on containment (remote locations, not urban), cooling options (avoid dumping heat into oceans and rivers), and disposal (some sort of dilution method to reduce the half-life of the wastes to make it safer).
Bernie has no chance. His proposals cost about $35T over the next 10 years. I think medicare for all is around $16T, his green new deal proposals are around $16T, and his free college, and college debt forgiveness is around $2.5T.
Now, of course, even if elected, none of those things would get actually enacted. But it just shows how disconnected from reality he is.
Bernie is like if you made $100k salary, and you came home, and your wife (Bernie) said, "I think we should buy a $10 million home."
I'm pretty sure when he was asked about the $16T green proposals and how he would pay for them in the last debate, he said, "oil and gas companies make $4B profit every year!" Yeah, Bernie, that's 1/4000th of what your proposals cost. So, if we taxed the oil and gas companies 100%, we could pay for what you want in 4000 years!
My vote is currently with Mayor Pete. Pragmatic, liberal proposals. I honestly like John Delaney a lot too, but he has no chance at the nomination. Pete is the one of the top 5 that actually aligns most closely with my interests. Bernie and Warren are complete non-starters. Biden, I like, but I generally agree he's a little old and out of touch.
Mayor Pete is a small town mayor. And not a very good one, at that.
Trump is a "businessman." And not a very good one, at that.

A net worth of a couple billion $ sounds pretty good to me.
I just got a pop-up add. Warren holding a beer. "Have a beer with Elizabeth Warren" . What a whore.
Mayor Pete won the South Bend mayoral race in 2011 with 10,991 votes. Re-elected in 2015 with 8,515 votes. That’s the extent of his constituency. Small town.

LOL ... fake claim. Why would a "billionaire" need his fixer to bill him monthly over one year for a $135,000 payoff to a porn star?

So you are against small towns having any say nationally. That means you would also be against the electoral college because it gives small towns in small state more say in the presidential election than larger towns in larger states. Nice . . . . .

I'm fine with that. Obama was a community organizer and a what, part-term senator? And I like how he governed. Mayor Pete has much more realistic ideas than Bernie and Warren. I like his ideas and his plans over any of the other leading candidates. I trust that Pete would put pragmatic people with appropriate experience in his cabinet. Might be a step up from Jared Cushner, DeVos, Mnuchin, Ben Carson, Rick Perry, and all the other piles of crap that Trump has already fired.
Here is a pretty good article on Elizabeth Warren and her background leading up to this if any wants to read it.
“She is laser-fucking-focused on what is happening to working families who need help,” said one former CFPB staffer.

But he's supported by Wall Street, and the corrupt DNC billionaires. Hmm I wonder why that is.
