Not a problem. Even the homeless can own cats. Last year, where I live, they found a well taken care of cat in an old closed tunnel walkway/room hidden under a downtown road. A homeless teenager lived there.

Congrats you're dating a child. Welcome to the world of Male-Female relationships. Interestingly, Ive seen many blogs and websites shaming "man children," but what noone seems to talk about is that 99% of women never mature past the age of 18. Projection from all those independent feminist presumably.
Try to date a girl with the mental age of at least a 16 year old. Then she can drive you home when you're too drunk. That's what I did, and it's worked out well so far.
These types of girls are very common. They basically want to date their father. This type of behavior is a cry for help so you will take control of her behavior
If you are comfortable with telling her what to do the rest of your life then keep dating her.
Adopting a stray cat literally ruined my mom and sisters relationship...dont let her do it
Adopting another CAT is NOT a reason to break up with your girlfriend. Some people get lonely and need pets or they'll get depressed, especially when they are in a stressful situation like an underpaying job. Wanting to help a stray cat is a sign of empathy. You are overreacting.
She's in a tight spot monetarily, but is that going to be the case forever? Most people advance in their jobs over time and get big raises in the first few years of their careers. What's her job and where do you expect she'll be financially in 5 years?
Being irresponsible with money, aside from her pets (which aren't an abnormal number at 3 btw), might be a reason to break up, if its going to bring you personally hardship. I think the case may be that you care about this girl and that is why you are worrying that a cat could be too expensive. In this case, you probably should not break up. If what you are worried about is your own personal finances (presumably because you might be called on to help with expenses or do so out of obligation), you have to ask yourself 1) can you afford to do so and 2) is it worth it - do you love this girl or do you see it ending eventually anyways?
Tonight would you rather tell this girl you love you love her or would you rather start making plans for a life without her? Go for a run or do whatever you need to do to clear your head and think about these things, knowing that whatever you decide, thats what you're going to stick with. Whatever you decide to do, I wish you the best.
The cat isn’t the problem. Money is and always will be. If you’re considering taking the relationship further read the post nup shut off thread first.
Anyone who has and/or likes filthy disgusting cats- dump immediately.
And stay far, far away from.
