The high school in Virginia she attended expended a lot of effort to get her proficient in academics and language. This is not a negative comment, but merely a reflection of this young woman's circumstances. She appears to have done well, and the investment the school made seems to a very good one. I think she expressed herself well in interviews last night, and at the same time she appears remarkably humble. And unlike many high school stars, she has gone on to succeed at the next level. I can't fathom what is not to like about Ms. Kelati or how any negative conclusions can be drawn.
