Was there any explanation why or how Jon returned from the dead?
How long do dragons live? Where did it take dead Dani? Could there be areas with other dragons far to the east off maps that connect to where ayra was going? Why aren’t there maps if ships sail to the west?
The red magic lady brought Jon back. Melisandre. Same as how Beric (guy with flaming sword) was brought back like 6 or more times (guy with top knot kept bringing him back).

I'm just confused about how the kids all got so old. The whole show is supposed to unfold over a period of 2 or 3 years, but somehow Bran and Robin grow from small children into adults in that time period.
how'd they get so old? wrote:

No clue. It’s TV. Also books don’t equal TV. Everyone on the show is older when it started vs books. Ie: Book Jon is like 15 at the start.

I enjoyed the last episode. I like the dragon disappearing with Dany. But, something I may have missed, was it ever explained how Dany got her ability to withstand fire?

Yeah i really wish the creators had got some of those non-aging actors or just cut the show to 2-3 seasons to accomodate for thus.

She is a no for full Brazilian, the dragon queen sports a landing strip.
Meh, I mostly just watched GoT because some of the characters were really hot, so I pretty much lost interest once Joffrey and Tomen were both gone.

Yes as the show goes, more like 10-12 years from beginning to end, not 2-3. But how do we know when the book ends because it's not done yet?!
Episode was pretty good to very good. The first half was great. Then the closure part seemed rushed and a bit jumbled at times. But hard to close off that big of a show in 45 minutes. They could have done better with the timeline by keeping seasons 7 and 8 at 10 episodes each. Not 7 and 6.

Inbreeding? Magic? Drunken dwarf tossing?

I think that what the writing room on the show literally sounded like by the end.

The writing was down right awful this season. I feel emotionally betrayed. The finale was the worst episode in the series, and one of the worst episodes of any show I've ever seen.
Lol worst episode of any show? Be more of a drama queen why don't you....
Hahahaha! No kidding!
It was okay. I thought Drogon melting the iron throne and taking Dany away was cool. Didn't really make sense that Jon wasn't killed by the Unsullied immediately after they found out he killed Dany, but whatever.
Good performance by Peter Dinklage. I look forward to following the careers of a few of the actors.
Thanks for the answer.
Do the dograghti (sp?) or the any of the other areas that Dany took power over get any say who is king or queen?
Are they part of the 6 kingdoms?

Targaryen's are of "dragon blood", that means they can't be harmed by fire. Therefore, Jon can't be harmed by fire either.

Didn’t her brother get killed by having molten gold poured on his head? You would think he would’ve lasted a bit longer. Dragon fire probably burns hotter than a typical campfire.

Only some of them have the ability to withstand fire, which is one of the reasons they interbreed - to try to have an offspring with that presumably recessive trait.

So, Jon might be able to survive fire?

Probably not since his mother wasn't Targaryen and it is likely a recessive trait that both partners would have to have.
The series was never going to live up to expectations, Season 7 didn't either. First 6 seasons were absolutely fantastic in my opinion and it needed to last another 4 seasons with 10 episodes. Seemed rushed.
As for the ending??
Probably the correct one, but as somebody said the journey to it had many flaws.
