I think Nike missing from this is the biggest story. They were clearly scooped here in the worst way. I don't think Ratcliff will be sharing the spotlight. If he was, Nike would already be on board as a co-sponsor since its one of their top sponsored athletes. And regarding Kipchoge having plenty of time to do all the other marathons, that may be true and he's remarkable. But injuries and wear and tear can close that window pretty fast. After hitting 36 years old it and all those races, it will probably be harder even for him.
