I need something that can handle a longer day’s worth of faster running. Light but enough cushioning not to have my legs feeling like sh*t. Basically a shoe that is responsive and bouncy enough to move from long tempo pace all the way down to track intervals - but with enough cushioning to keep me healthy.
Stuff like 4-7mile tempos + 4miles worth of warmup and cooldown. Maybe even cruise intervals (or faster intervals) on the track or some long hill reps with warmup and cooldown.
I’ve had the Nike Streak and Nike Speed Rival. Those have held up great for faster track stuff, but I get worried doing workouts in them that last 10+miles. I was thinking of trying out the Pegasus Turbo for this type of stuff — or the Adidas Adios 4. Those are my two finalists right now, unless anyone has a better recommendation ?
