Anyone on here run 60mpw and run a 3:39 1500m?
No? Then keep your mouth shut.
Anyone on here ever even run a 3:39 1500m?
No?
THEN KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT.

Spencer Brown is not going to make any final, Olympic, Olympic Trials, or NCAA. The dude isn't even going to make it out of regionals. Now you SHUT UP!
So yeah, his aerobic engine may or may not be top notch yet because he doesn’t do lots of miles, WHICH MEANS HE CAN STATT DOING THAT AND IMPROVE! I’m not a big Spencer brown fan, I think he’s cool enough, but I’m getting ticked because your guys’ arguments are so freaking stupid. Regardless, 3:39 in college is freaking fast. One of the top marks in D1! So anyone else who is a top 15 runner in their respective event in d1 want to come on these boards and tell us how a 3:39 isn’t good? Oh wait, none of you trolls are top even top 50 nationally
Maybe he can't handle more than 60, it's not like he is doing 30 mpw. That is his ceiling.
Like watching someone meltdown in real time. Wtf

Running is the only sport I see people using this kind of logic. Imagine if people said you can't criticize x quarterback because you can't throw like him. Or you can't criticize that coach because you can't coach as good as him.

WTF guys? I’m a 17 year old subscriber to Spencer’s channel. It’s funny to think that all the trolls on here that will never even run under 5 for a mile, much less 3:57 are being so rude to Spencer. He’s a legit guy with a bright future who doesn’t need to self promote to 50 year old has beens.
Peace,
Daniel
You call people “has been” and then conclude with “Peace.” You might already be a loser at 17.
Lol @ the unregistered guy on this thread calling multiple registered and commonly used accounts on this thread Spencer.
And to the high school kid, the over the top vehemently defending of Spencer doesn’t really help. I like the kid too but you’re asking for people like the guy on this thread to troll.
And you have to just ignore Rojo on threads like this. He embarrasses himself enough as is.

bruh, if you don't think it's OK to critique runners who are faster than you than you are on the wrong website.
Also, Kentucky gang. We may have raced yesterday - did you run at Eastern Relays?

I am sorry guys for being a narcissistic show off, and because my roommate and me have been doing all the typing on here. Sincerely. Spencer

I think he's a legend, 3:39 is a very very good time for a collegiate, just 4 seconds of the collegiate record. Realistically, he could be running 3:37 by the end of the season and 3:35 is not too far off for his senior season (2020). Olympic trials/Olympic team are also big things that could be very possible for Spencer.
He trains with Joe White (Georgetown) who runs 1:45 and was at the last trials.
This is either Spencer, Joe( whoever) White, or his gay lover.

Spencer Brown, commonly known as the “Athlete Special” just ran a 3:39 for 1500 meters. He closed in 56 and outkicked pros from OTC such as Hassan Mead.
It converts to a 3:57!
Thoughts? Think he can go pro? Congrats Spencer if you’re reading this!!
My thoughts? When I read "Athlete Special" since I'd never heard of the guy and was trying to figure out why someone was talking about a 3:39 guy, I wondered if we were talking about a Special Olympics or maybe Paralympics guy.
Oh c'mon Rojo. I realize this is in jest, but his channel has been batting around in these forums for a while now. You can troll better than that, I'm sure.

Pretty much how we all feel when we read your writing.
The only place I've heard of "the athlete special" is in other posts on this website, for what it's worth.

Spencer and The Athletes Special is good for the sport, I enjoy watching it and find it inspirational. If you don't like it don't watch it. The hate on this board is amazing, the guy lets us into his training and progression and doesn't take himself too seriously. 3:39 is a very good time, anyone who ran seriously would respect a 3:39 1,500m runner. Not to mention it's two seconds faster than the Cornell school record where the esteemed and all knowing rojo coached. Lastly, what kind of man child, former DI coach and supposed journalist uses "Special Olympics" or "Paralympics guy" as an insult?
So lame but so typical.

Stop your BS Spencer, you ran a 3:39, so what. You were almost dead last. Let's talk about your 34:00 minute 10k pr, I mean WTF. All the Athlete Special is about is you running around, eating, and laying in bed with your gay roommates. And let's not forget the 8 minute abs, like you know what your talking about.
