Rod, this is why, as with scott dominguez, you need to search for evidence before making a conclusion. I'm very certain (note, I didn't say "I am sure") that I know which (july) race you're talking about and I also know the Namibian guy who was second to him. He paid back the guy who he beat plus a $100 interest, according to jordan (who also got a usada sanction, oddly enough).

I think what Derek is doing is what needs to be done. Provide proof one event at a time. Then DQ. Of course, timing companies may not like having more work to do, if they are even still in business. A guy got busted for PED use in 2012. He for sure “won” $1,000.00 in 2011 at a 10k. I am sure he still has that money. After all, there is no proof that he was “dirty” in 2011. BUT, proof can be obtained for a “course cutter”. So “we” carry on. After all, Frank Meza in insisting on it.

Agreed.
One thing we’re bad at on these threads is declaring victory. We should because we’ve earned it.
Sure, the media will use the word “alleged” because they are using secondary information, didn’t gather the facts themselves, are lazy, don’t want to get sued, whatever. Who cares? Everyone with an active brain knows the deal and how the media works (why they use the word alleged) and that he’s an epic cheat. His reputation is in tatters. His coaching days are done. His fellow doctors know the deal. His place in history is secured.
La Opinion does not appear to be covering the Frank Meza news.
I sent them a message to ask if they planned on doing so.
Quick internet searches show that it is being distributed widely in Spanish. Maybe Runners World's Mexico edition will?

Once again, LA Times drops the ball.
The headline should read: "Former Loyola Coach Dr. Frank Meza disqualified for cheating at LA Marathon."
Throw out "alleged." Use his coach and Dr. titles; their a HUGE part of and draw to the story.
Anyone heard anything back from Phoenix?
I love the headline suggestion. I like that more recent headlines are much stronger. Of course we can't control them. However we (through Derek) have some power in this area. As many have noted, we have put FM up to the top of the Google search results, with the MI articles right up there with the big name media links.
So Derek, when you make an update on MI with the recent info please make sure to give your article a nice strong headline as suggested above. When it shows up in the top Google results, it will have an impact. Maybe include "decade of cheating" or "cheated on dozens of races" in the headline since mainstream articles are still stuck on only LAM19.
“If you’re gonna cheat on the test, you can’t get all the answers right .”
Referring to the time differential before first and second place in his age group.
This segment is near the end, right before he takes callers.

Derek, please include deadesq in the Marathoninvestigation.com health and 401k plans immediately.
Last call for FM to capitulate ....
Thanks, Greg.
I'm putting out another call to donate to MI today.
https://www.marathoninvestigation.com/Just so you know, downloading an individual hi-res photo costs $24.95 on MarathonFoto. I have been feeding Derek a stream of photos from LA 2015 showing Frank both backtracking and skulking in the bushes. Derek will need these hi-res photos. Here's an example.
https://imgur.com/a/NfF1zq1Frank's 2015 LA Marathon time is his "PR" of 2:52:47. That was the original race that caused LAM to require a companion runner for Frank. If he's disqualified from this race, it will be telling for sure.

Dang!!! The one day I don't listen. I see you posted this at 10:12. Does this mean Dan was talking about it at the begining of the second hour? I want to try to catch a replay or download. Thanks.

EXCELLENT!!! Please keep up the partnership with Derek and his platform. Excellent work.
I believe it’s at the end, right before he takes some callers regarding the shortest stint someone had with a franchise who will get their jersey retired referencing Khawi Leonard.

I've been in touch with some heavy hitters at one national news network. Going to have a 2 minute segment tonight.
Deadesq, just out of curiosity, litigation or transactional?

This guys knows. A race with an observer can't change either side's opinion on what happened any less than it can change the truth of what happened.

Closer to transactional, but I do a lot of employment investigation work, too. ;-)

Frank was implored 100 pages ago to come clean or STFU primarily to avoid what he will go through in the next few months. More races exposed herein will highlight now to a wider and engaged international audience that not only are the cheating allegations true re: LA 2019 but other races, as well. Anyway, thankfully he didn't so his cheating will get exposed further. Worse, he's coming off as a liar to those that should mean more to him: Loyola, Kaiser, his family, the LA community. Remarkably, he's still marketing the. " I did it for fun/I didn't cheat/and will show them by running Chicago, LA, Kathmandu, blah, blah nonsense. Frank, it's too late. You really screwed the pooch. Anyway, said many times, good job, all.
My daily reminder: what is phoenix marathon waiting for? Now they look idiot.
