What a pansy.
The article states he was a All American runner. I looked up his HS times and they were pretty average. Also said he had 20 Division 1 scholarship offers which seems crazy.
Parents moved from NY to Arizona since he was going to school there. Who does that?
No way a 4:25 guy has 20 D1 offers. Offers for what?

Get used to it. This is your new generation. Don't like the outcome? Make something up. Don't agree with something? Make something up. You've always got that ace in the hole if calking someone a racist, whether it applies to the situation or not.
3rd at USATF Junior nationals in 3k steeplechase, almost won the race too:

after what happened with their throws coach a few years ago, Arizona is going to settle this very quickly and the kid will get a big chunk of money. even if it's entirely false, they can't take the bad press anymore.

They shouldn't have someone like that coaching athletes.

Might want to look again at those HS times. 20 Div 1 scholarship offers seems reasonable. Moving from Smithtown LI to Arizona? Why would anyone NOT do that if they have the means?
He was pretty average in hs based off of his times. Rumor is that he was a head case in hs and he was suspended form the team numerous times for bullying and other disciplinary actions.
Another baseless accusation in the #metoo era. Let the coach freaking coach! If he wants to get a little physical let him do so!
What did Carlos V do?
FYI, bullying is not uncommon on men's teams. We actually had one specific guy on our team back in college that got annihilated by bullying, and eventually quit the team. There was one ring leader on our team that was adamant to stir the pot and lead the way in bullying.
Look no further than how many people enter the program as promising freshmen and how many make it past the first year or two. Draw your own conclusions.
Lots to take in here.
At the surface much doesn’t add up and could be much overblown by the accuser.
Pretty hilarious how the knee jerk reaction here is to blame the accusers. Yeah man F those pansies, this new generation is coddled and spoiled!!

Did you read or listen to the news piece?
Mentioned two star runners on the team not by name.
However, that doesn’t mean much. Kid could be jealous of the top guys thinking he should be a top guy.
Given what recently happened at the U of A coaches would be very careful of how they treat athletes and how athletes might interpret things that surround a competitive traing environment. And, unfortunately because of that recent history, people could take advantage of a situation full knowing the university wouldn’t want bad publicity. If that is the case, that is truly sad. There will be an addition investigation (as it sounded like there already was) and hopefully accountability.

a 9:15 steeple 2nd fastest in the country as a senior is "pretty average"?
Can you point out the meets he missed in HS because of your rumored suspensions?
Parents moving with their son from New York to Tuscon tells you everything in this story.
