A little surprised as he is still pretty young and obviously we don’t have a lot of studs in the marathon after the old guard moves on, so I would imagine he would still have a chance to make teams.
But in the end it just sounds like injuries got to him and he is ready to move on. To real estate!
Editor's Note: This is Puskedra's full statement:
"Hey everyone,
Thanks for checking in. Over the past few weeks, I have taken some time to reflect on how I could find a better balance between running and life. For a long time, life was that thing that happened somewhere between one training session and the next. After twenty years, I have made the decision to start lacing up a different pair of shoes between runs.
I had the incredible support of the best company in sports through Nike and now Re-max has given me the privilege of adding another chapter with the best company in real estate.
I will bring the same energy and passion I have given wholeheartedly to running to my career as a real estate agent. A career in which I can assist others in realizing their dreams by handing over the keys to the place in which they will create their life’s memories.
I want to thank everyone who has been there along the way and for those of you who will continue to support me on my next journey. Our family is healthy and living life to the fullest in Eugene. I hope that our paths will cross soon and I can assist you in the future as you have supported me in the past.
Stay in touch, Luke
