Just received these and they do come up too large, you would likely be able to get away with a US13 if us14 shoe size, there is always the options of reduced insole increase the volume if it’s not 100% a length issue

No. It's TPU like Boost, Everrun, etc. Add it to your "List of TPUish midsoles whatcha got" thread...
From what I've been told, I haven't actually held the shoe in my hand, it isn't a true TPU like boost, but rather a new proprietary form of TPU that is a hybrid of TPU and Pebax. It is supposed to be a little lighter than traditional TPU and have a little bit more energy return. FWIW
They used they words "expanded TPE" that is proprietary and cheaper to manufacture. They said it was lighter than normal EVA, so that could be the case, as TPU seems to be heavier than EVA typically.

Also, having a shoe with this much TPU-like midsole and lots of rubber at only 8.7oz could suggest it is a bit different than normal TPU. I suppose if it was a normal TPU, they would probably have the same company making it that makes Boost.

I'd take lighter. That's my hangup with tpu - everun, dna-amp, it's bottom heavy.

I ordered the floatride run fast in 9.5 and sent them back as just a tad big. Hopefully 9 does the trick

What did you find too big? Length or width?
Length is long, I’m putting up with it as it’s a easy run shoe, but more than a thumb width on both left and right on a US12. Width is somewhere between D and 2E too

Funny you mention it considering Reebok is owned by Adidas

I'm assuming a lot of you have run in Adidas Bostons. Comparing Boston's those were a 1/2 size short to my Pegasus so I think Reebok may be True to size

Length. ..my heel was slipping out slightly
Two runs in .....whatever the superfoam is , it is terrific. Lighter than boost, not squishy, not harsh. Didn't have to screw around with the lacing. I'm a ten in nike and the ten fit well. I have flat narrow feet. Best normal trainer I have used in a long time.
Update:
The midsole is great. Upper is simple and light. Lots of rubber. Good traction. The fit is a bit big though. I would probably go half size down.
Got these. Too long for a 11.5. I wear 11.5 in altras, Nike’s,
Not impressed, but maybe for. 100 $ trainer (70 with discount) it’s fine. I a, looking for a mid distance long run shoe for full and half training instead of putting miles on my cheaterflys. I find my zoom Fly Flyknit great for tempos up to 7mi, turbos ok for recovery (too sloppy otherwise).
I got sketchers go razor 3 and they are my fav so far.
Open to other recommendation? Boston’s?

NB Beacon
Hoka Carbon Rocket
PS - I ordered a pair of the Reeboks in their biggest size - 13 - in the hope that everyone is right saying they fit too big (I wear a 14).
Will update.

Did you get the floatride energy? Or the Floatride run fast?

Double up the insoles. Will snug them right up for you.
Got the beacon on day 1, light shoe but they were too firm for me and the sizing was either too big or too small for my feet. I went with the larger size but just couldn’t fall in love and they brick up at low temps worse than any other shoe. Plus larger size was tough to tighten down. Had to return to roadrunner after 20 miles
Got the rocket today too but still don’t like hokas for my feet. They feel heavy, firm and were a half size too large to my normal size. I feel like they need a good 30 miles to break in

Did you get the floatride energy? Or the Floatride run fast?
The forever energy, I tried the run fasts last year but found the forefoot cushion too thin and they gave me blisters on my toes. At slower paces I don’t get them but at tempos faster than 6:30 they hotspoted all over. I did like the run fast foam in he heel and the forevers are firmer for sure but a good compromise for 100 bucks.
Wife got a pair too and she found them too long and also a bit too wide with fabric creasing around.
I think roadrunner sports hates me but I still buy like 15 pairs between my family and relatives annually
AhWhatTheCheese wrote:
The Forever Floatride Energy name is confusing. It isn't the actual Pebax Floatride, but it is a TPU. That said, pair the Forever Floatride Energy with the Floatride Run Fast for a killer 1-2 training combo. Both shoes are excellent.
I assume you have both with that recommendation, so I guess my question is does the "forever" have the same lack of lockdown in the upper the as the "run fast"
Because I am not impressed with the fit of the "run fast" it is sloppy. I mean even the Bostons don't have the beautiful lockdown of the Adios but they still have a decent fit
Also the "run fast" doesn't seem to have any special performance for me. Are you finding it anything special in the PR department?
