Maybe it’s a great sign for the sport-Simpson is such a star NBC decided to broadcast her weekend tempo workout. Riveting.

Moline is becoming the new Morgan Uceny. Always expect drama when she races.

Seems like Brazier is now the guy to beat at USAs.
Lol. He won't be top 3.
NBC uses a split screen during commercials! Finally.
LMAO Lewis Johnson was like yeah...your done talking..here's Jenny Simpson!

I wouldn't write off Murphy so quickly - it was very tight and Murphy is the Olympic medallist.
What SHOCKED me about the race was how they ran it. Isn't Brazier normally a front runner? He looked GREAT coming from third to 1st. His endurance training with NOP already seems to be working. Murphy on the other hand, who often has a sick kick, went for it from the front.
If Murphy had played it safe and run from the back, the results might have been different.
I agree completely. Had Brazier and Murphy switched race tactics I’m almost sure Brazier would have finished in the 1:47s. He doesn’t look like he’s in too good aerobic shape right now, that or he was just running very uncomfortably.
That being said, I think Murphy has the best last 200 of any mid distance runner in the US; seeing Brazier hold pace and out lean him shows me he’s come a long way since joining NOP.
Regardless of who comes out on top, I’m hoping to see these two continue to improve each other.
a week or so ago some were saying Brazier was about run a WR 1:39. Wha happened?
Rai Benjamin wins the 300 in 32.55! Fast
Klosterhalfen is ridonkulous!
She's going to a lot of damage in the 1500 to 5000 this year! 15:15 indoors off a slow start!

Haha, I was thinking the same thing. She seems like a sweet girl, and I was actually interested in hearing her talk, but that was awkward.
They spend hundreds of thousands of dollars and can't even find a rabbit to last 800 meters for the en's mile? Shi*, why doesn't the NOP bring their own guy? My god.
Kejelcha by over 3 seconds and 5 seconds over 3rd place!
Prakel with a PR by 0.20, solid third place ahead of Willis! Gonna be interesting to see how he fares this season as a pro. He’s still being coached by Powell, correct?
Is the announcing getting worse or have I not watched a meet recently? They we're obviously never going to get the WR. Why not just hype the good race and the chance at breaking the meet record?
He looked solid. Would expect if Millrose is more competitive and better paced a 3:50 is on the table. Still think people went overboard after the double.

Yeah. I havne't been watching the whole thing but thought the same thing. What I noticed in the intro was they ow have Ato in the lead. But he's also doing play by play.
He's not a play by play guy. The need a play by play guy. Let Ato do what he does best - analyze the sprints.
Plus how has the sprint analysis been. Does Ato give his take any more or does only Sanya Richards Ross? She's not half as good as he is.
Knight is such a failure after college. Some no-name Canadian is faster.
It annoys me that you can't paste the meet results but Justy Knight ran 4:03 for the mile.
Ouch.
Now Masback's audio is out so Ato Boldon is going to have to do the whole 3k by himself.
I can't believe this rabbit in the 3k is a 4 minute miler. He looks huge. Who is he? Holt? Where did he run?
PS. If you have NBC gold there are no commercials but you only get 1 commentator - Hutchings.
Looks like Gebrewhet is going to put up a fight this year, leading Ches at 1800 meter mark
