Looks like we forgot to start a thread. Women's 600 and Boys mile in the books. Neither was fast.
Rogers won the women's 600 in 1:27.41 while Matthew Payamps won the boys mile in 4:12.39. I guess 4:12 indoors is pretty good for a HSer but 1:27.41 is only equivalent to like 2:03.25 for 800.

Late to the party!
800 was terrific, race of the night as predicted! Brazier passes Murphy on the home straight -
In the pre-race previews it was mentioned that Murphy is coached by Salazar. I can't believe this. Look at Murphy's hands when he runs. Thumbs straight up. Remember a few years ago when Salazar was coaching Ritz? Salazar was tweaking Ritz's running form and it included putting his thumbs down when he runs. Sure, Salazar's training philosophies may have evolved in the last few years but not so much that thumbs-up is now allowed.
Brazier looks significantly more jacked than he has in the past. Must be hitting the weights hard with the NOP... -

I wonder how much of an impact both (slight) contacts had on Braziers motivation to win. He got a light push from behind with 120 to go, and was a hair away from elbowing Murphy down the straight away.
He did run wide though, so I’ve got to give him credit for managing such great fitness.
Seems like Brazier is now the guy to beat at USAs. -
Felt bad for Moline in the 600. She was going backwards but it looked like Rodgers cut in too quickly and caused her to fall

Hard to believe he only started running again at the start of the year. That's impressive. -
Ellis takes the 300 breaking 37 seconds .hey don't mark it as her PB but am thinking it is as how often has she run this distance? Women's mile in 10 minutes. Lots of big names. For some reason I don't see Coburn being a factor, nor Martinez.

I wouldn't write off Murphy so quickly - it was very tight and Murphy is the Olympic medallist.
What SHOCKED me about the race was how they ran it. Isn't Brazier normally a front runner? He looked GREAT coming from third to 1st. His endurance training with NOP already seems to be working. Murphy on the other hand, who often has a sick kick, went for it from the front.
If Murphy had played it safe and run from the back, the results might have been different.
Update: Jonathan Gault just texted me and told me that Pete Julian wants Brazier to be more patient in 800s whereas Murphy told Jonathan he didnt know the last time he led an 800.
Post-race interviews will show up here eventually:

The female announcer just said the 60 hurdles is a lot like synchronized swimming... um what?
-
This mile is a classic example of the race not going storyline so the announcers spend half the race talking about Emma Coburn then she is never in contention.

Seriously, they did a terrible job adapting and actually announcing the race! -
Wow, Stafford & Purrier leave the rest of the field in their dust. 4:24 high for both.
-
Well you were spot on. Neither were a factor.
This has to be a big breakthrough for Purrier -

Purrier looks very fit and strong. Looks like she is adapting well to the pro life. -
Hutchings flying solo on NBC gold-hasn’t taking a breath yet, killing it!!
-
What's the point of this 5000? Not even going with the rabbits at 15:00 pace? sad
-
At this point-Bruce might win rolling at marathon pace.
-
Now NBC does split screen with the commercials with one of the most boring races(tempo runs) ever.
