Sub5orbust - did you run the race?
Thank you for your earlier response on my training, I didn't get around to replying.
I ended up racing it and put in a good effort-1:19:38 and top 10 overall! I swore to myself that I wouldn't walk any of the uphills if I was tired-only if my knee started to hurt, which it surprisingly didn't. I was feeling a slight twinge this morning, but after warming up it had gone away, and it never came back during the race. It hurts a bit more now when I press on it, but it doesn't affect my movement nearly as much as it was doing on Saturday. I plan on resting it until the pain goes away entirely now. I don't go back to school/official training until Monday, so if it needs until then, I will give it that time. Plus, it's been forcing me to do a lot more strength in the gym which I feel like definitely helped with my power and stability on the trails today, so I'll continue to do that.
