So now you are criticizing Trump for not deporting enough? So which is it - is illegal immigration good or bad? You are confused.
The numbers didn't double in a few years. The study shows the number of illegals always been significantly higher than reported. Pretty much every other count of illegal immigrants is based on people self reporting their presences in the USA. That's extremely inaccurate because if you are here illegally, you don't want to tell people.
You missed the point, so I'll try again. I said I don't think illegal immigration is as big a problem as the politicians try to make it out to be. I'm not criticizing Trump for not deporting enough.
However, you previously raised the number of illegal immigrants in the country (20 million by your source), suggesting that illegal immigration is an important issue to you.
And this is the question that you are avoiding. If your numbers are correct and there are 20 million illegal immigrants in the country, that shows that either there are more illegal immigrants here now than there were 4 years ago or there are about the same number. Either way, we can agree that there are not significantly fewer illegal immigrants here than when Trump took office. So why on earth would you vote for a guy who, 4 years ago, promised to send them all home? And promised to build a wall?
He's failed to deliver on his promises on an issue that you seem to think is important. You may have been suckered in 2016, but are you going to get suckered again? When someone's already proven that they can't do a job, why give them the job a second time?
You said he's the only one with the balls to build the wall. I don't know about that, since I think there was more wall built under GWB than under Trump. But Trump's problem is he doesn't have the brains or the skill or the attention span to cut the deal that he needs to build the wall. It's got nothing to do with balls.
