actually D3 has a fairly strong following here...
Any jobs coming up between indoor and outdoor or do we have to wait until June?
WCU is vacant.
Then whoever takes WCU will have a vacancy at the previous institution, etc, etc.
What’s ashevilles scholarship situation?

Why? who left UNCA?
Anyone have the scoop on Syracuse? Adding a position or replacing someone?
I hear it’s more reshuffling after last year’s departure.
This is a crazy comment. Syracuse isn’t “shuffling” their coaching staff.
WCU hired Jesse Norman. They'll announce it tomorrow.
It's a bizarre hire. Hopefully he realizes that Western isn't going to be successful pouring it's money into distance and trying to compete with Furman or Samford for XC titles. Danny's understanding of the sport is pretty weak, but I'll give him credit for realizing that he could win SOCON titles in track by investing money in the events that none of the other schools contest in any meaningful sense - sprints, jumps, and throws. It'll be interesting to see how a distance coach sets his priorities.
In the past weeks so far we’ve heard the following were all offered and accepted the HC position at WCU:
Mitchell
Bomar
Livingstone Coach
Now Jesse Norman
When will official word be out of the new coach?
Jesse Norman has already indicated the move on his FB page. Move on......next vacancy.
Bump
I keep seeing this “bump.” What does that mean?
It's a post to literally "bump" the thread up to the top of page 1, so it is more easily seen. It's a way to try and get more posts or updates in the case of this particular thread.
Western is becoming distance focused?
Would be a shame because they’ve won their titles on sprint, jumps, and throws. They’re also the heavy favorites to win again in 2018!

Considering they currently only have ONE (inexperienced) coach, it might be difficult to win with a staff of 1.
2019
What became of Coach Ken Harnden. He is one of the better sprints coaches in the U.S?
Hes at Tennesee now.
