I disagree. Ballistic athletes do need weight rooms and a dry warm place to do drills and plyos.

Bobby Lockhart back to Wisco!!!
Any word on this? Nothing on the schools website stating they are starting anew program. Will it be just a year of recruiting to start or will they really expect someone to put together a team in a month?
Gvsu just had their track camp, so whoever they are looking at just auditioned for the role as the Throws coach at the camp. Their back up plan is to hook up their jumps coach who has been there for a decade and coached Throws before gvsu.
Competition to start in the Fall of 2020.
Rutgers also did their interviews already, I’m guessing with usas coming up it’ll come up after that....
GVSU throws is filled but not announced yet.

What a cheap looking cheesy cut and paste pic!
Only a change in title. Still coaching the same kids, the same responsibility, probably the same pay. Still an assistant who is responsible for one event group and one gender.

You’re hating so bad on Carlson it’s pathetic and have no clue about his “little” position and financials. No one will ever know since it’s not posted from a private institution.
Regardless of that I’d bet he just accomplished more just in this this past year than you will in your coaching lifetime.

LOL.... Again.....Look at that cheesy cheap pic! You seem a "little" sensitive about what you referred to as his "little" position. Everything I said was true. Everyone "in the know" knows Notre Dame doesn't pay as well as other Power 5 Track & Field programs. You would be dead wrong if you think Carlson has accomplished more than I in one season than I have in my athletic career, coaching career or in my professional life. You also said no one will ever know since it's not posted from a private institution. You obviously don't know who to ask or been in certain circles.
LOL....
lockhart is an awesome coach and a better person. rare to come across an actually genuine dude in this industry who truly cares about his athletes and not just political bs. wherever he ends up will be very lucky.
Interested to know who the known unknown up and coming sprints and hurdles coaches that are in line to take over these pretty decent jobs.
Meaning unknown to the general public but known amongst the top coaches. Those are likely the men or women to scoop up jobs like Arizona State, USF, Texas A&M, Western Kentucky, Boston, UC, Kennesaw - the list goes on.
What’s the chatter?
who did gvsu nab? and who did rutgers interview? no point in keeping stuff quiet
Curious who's taking over at AK Anchorage. No buzz on that position or whether it's been open.
To be fair...Carlson might be the biggest doucher in the NCAA. I'm just saying..
Are they even going to have athletics there soon? The financial situation up there isn't looking good... They've had a bunch of athletes show up on the transfer portal this week. Maybe they know something?

In case you haven’t notice the sprinting coaching world is infamous for keeping job moves very hush hush. Unlike the distance coaches who come on here to anonymously bash everyone.
I’m guessing Monday those jobs will be announced before usa’s.
Stupid question. UMSL will obviously hire someone to recruit for a year then field a team next year! Why would you think you could get hired and have a team in place in 5-6 weeks? ??? Probably wont even have a coach until September!
Miller hired at Northwestern. Another example of a young female with a few years of coaching experience beating out a bunch of male applicants with 4-5 x the experience.
Tim Langford to coach the Sprinters at Oklahoma! Great hire for them. He tore it up at SC State with shotty facilities, small budget, very little support.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
