Hey Rick.
Yes, 7 Samuri is truly f***ing epic.
Lawrence Of Arabia.
Honourable Mentions: 2001 A Space Odessey, King Kong (1933), Vertigo, The Bicycle Thief, Citizen Kane.
I guess that's a personal preference question and a tough one at that. I like Scareface myself among many others.

Scarface was better.
Funny I don't think I ever saw that one.
Cheech and Chong's Up In Smoke
Point Break. It combines three legends of unintentional comedy in their prime: Patrick Swazey, Keanu Reeves, and Gary Busey in his greatest role. The only movie that comes close to this in Unintentional comedy is Top Gun. Also the chance of seeing this movie being played on TBS or TNT at any given time is like 75%. "Utah! Give me two!"
I AM AN F B I AGENT BRODY! dO YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS?
My faves :
Thin Red LIne - gets better everytime
Big Lebowski - comedy, mystery, drama, buddy picture
Boogie Nights - intentional unintentional comedy
Hurly Burly - amazing cast, sean penn at his best
movie I can watch any day and still enjoy - karate kid total 80s cheeze
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.
This thread is now over.
the usual suspects... actually, probably not the best I've ever seen but definitely my favorite. Best? impossible to say, but I'll be a sport and list a movie that makes me feel something every single time I watch it. Field of Dreams.
Shawshank Redemption
Lord of the Rings trilogy was also great in my opinion.
Tough for me to single out a best...but surely a Kubrick fan would not forget Full Metal Jacket, and Apocalpyse Now has to be up there. I also though Pulp Fiction was awesome.
Jason and the argonauts, the original from the 60's. The whole family will be entertained.
Can't stop the music
Ishtar
Heaven's Gate
Over the Top
Rocky IV
Stop or my Mom will shoot
The Bodyguard
Yentl
Funny Girl
Hello Dolly!
Nuts
Beaches
godzilla has to be better than king kong.
