After waking-up and hitting the toilet, I'm out the door for my main training runs of the day. I typically only have something to eat before my workout or long run days. I've only been eating a granola or Lara bar before workouts but considering eating something with a bit more substance before these workouts. I'm looking for some ideas. What do those of you who are running within 30 minutes of waking-up eating before a hard workout or long run?
