It is not possible for a zero drop shoe like the Altra Escalante or a Hoka wannabe like the NB Beacon to be a great shoe.

@jeff i know you feel my pain, I’m size probably size 14.5 but have to wear 15 do you think I could squeeze into the 14?
Jeff obviously works for sketchers . I just bought a pair at the nyc expo . They do feel like great shoes after 2 runs . Having SPEED written on the side on big green letter is a problem . It looks like I’m out running in counterfeit shoes I bought In Chinatown .

I thought I saw a size 15 offering?

Are you ever positive about anything? You and wtfunny are the two biggest wet blankets I have ever associated with.

I thought we were talking about shoes, rather than making personal judgements.

Yes. That is why I linked threads to Altra and New Balance.
Smh.
Question: we agree on the look of the shoe. Would you agree that it at least looks better in person than in pics online?
Do you agree that they feel better the faster you run?
What shoes did you run your race in?

You are right. Please forgive me.
So, do your shoes get damp, being tied to such a giant wet blanket?

Winters are pretty wet around here, so I'll report back when I take the Razor 3's for a run on one of the wetter says. But not sure why I would bring a blanket along with me.
Sorry bro - even if were possible for these shoes to give me a BJ, I wouldn't be caught dead wearing a pair of shoes that say "SPEED" in size 52 arial font,
Whenever I run in Brooks shoes, I get ITB.
Whenever I run in Adidas, I get insertional achilles tendinitis.
But I still prefer Brooms because their designs are sexy as Hala Hala~!
2 for 2 Jeff, that's rather overconfident. Looks a pretty bulky shoe, you've got to find me a tempo shoe.

Subway, have I ever led you astray?
This is your shoe. 5k-marathon, free tempos included.
Just checked RW again. Only goes to 14.
Poop. Definitely give them a look, but I am afraid I don't have much hope to offer you on this one. It fits pretty true to size.
The NB Beacon comes in 14, 14W, 15, & even 16... it is a great shoe in the same ballpark. The Escalante Racer also comes in a 15. Both fantastic.
Order 4 or 5 from RW and return the ones that don't work. Sorry that isn't what you were hoping to hear :-/ #empathy
Does the razor 3 run true to size? How does it compare to the escalante racer size wise?
Hmm, you must not have tested the Razor 2. It was hard as a rock.

I refuse to give Skechers a chance until they change their midsole foam to a firmer more durable piece. Every shoe they release I hear its improved and it feels like marshmallows and wears down next to nothing.
You can't convince me otherwise, I get to test every Skechers free of charge and never come away impressed.
It’s all good! I’m very used to it, I’ll check those shoes out.

Yes, true to size.
Any Altra will fit very differently from most any other shoe out there, except maybe Topo. That being said, there is more room in the Razor 3 toebox than most typical shoes, and certainly more room in the toebox than other LD racers.
